I can’t get over how cool this guy looks, more feral than the older style Elites why still looking impressively ornate, this guy looks like a cross between the Alien queen, a Predator, and an Elite! I think this model may take the cake as my favourite Elite.

Only thing I don’t really like about the Elites in Halo 4 is their lack of armor is some places(most notably their arms) but you can chalk that up to them being a small rebel faction of Elites and not the major population of Elite’s that are allied with Humanity(Who if they do appear maybe in Halo 5 I would assume to be fully armed and armored unlike the Storm)

You have to remember the Storm are a small rebel faction of Elites, so it wouldn’t be surprising if they had to mix and match and recycle many different pieces of armor from the war.

I don’t know about you but there were a few times where I mistook Elite Commanders for them.

Anyways, Spec Ops Elites don’t look like they’re returning (the Elites that arrived in drop pods on the level Forerunner were Minors and Majors) so I’m not complaining like I did with Reach. Spec Ops Elites are pretty much redundant nowadays since every Elite can throw a grenade. As long as they aren’t in the game, I’m content with the Zealot apparently taking their role.

Anyways I am glad the Storm seems to be breaking the established Covy ranking system a bit. It would be cool to see Arbys Elites and allies with more traditional Covy ranking and armor(Minor, Major, Ultra, Spec-Ops, zealot, ranger, etc) and let the storm do their own thing.

The Zealots are keeping their Maroon color from Reach. I imagine the Warriors are replacing the Generals, who were a big threat and made Zealots look like pansies.

They were the same as the Zealots but with a bit less shields, and I would guess a bit slower to react, Zealots were fast and dodgy as hell… Get your facts straight.

Indeed! Zealots are ALWAYS Gold. NOT MAROON! Generals were NEVER gold ither there were no Generals seen or Field Marshals in any Halo game except for Reach. The Warrior in Reach is not a Zealot it’s a General. Look at the Reach Elites and Halo 4 Elites and compare them! KNOW YOUR HALO! Especially Covenant.

Generals also used FRG to make you’re life a living hell while their other General buddies snuck up on you with swords. Play some FF.

What exactly is it you think I don’t know? I know Generals weren’t in any other game. I know Zealots used to be Gold. They changed all that in Reach and they are keeping those changes in Halo 4 by the looks of things. I’ve played every Halo multiple times, so keep telling me what I know, because you don’t.
