I love the like button.

I’ve just started using Halo Waypoint and today for the first time I used the like button.

I love it. The little fanfare that happens, the confetti. I had to go and find a few posts I didn’t mind liking just so I could use it again.

And I don’t know about everyone else but I hear the noise made when you open a vault tech lunch box (in fallout 4) every time I see it.

Lol I hear the Grunt Birthday Party sound.

I liked your post just to watch what happens when I like your post  It’s a great little touch for it to have the same effect as the GBP skull in game.

Yapyap approves of the like button

I didn’t even think of the birthday party skull.

The like button is a nice touch. There was no need for them to put in fanfare but they did anyway. In general I like this site’s design and functionality.

Definitely needs the grunt birthday party sound effect.

Agreed, it’s a nice little touch. Waypoint is pretty well designed, I think it’s a shame it doesn’t get nearly as much traffic or engagement (even from 343i it seems) than r/Halo.

I’m just glad we don’t have a dislike button. If there’s one thing I could change about reddit it would be to get rid of downvotes. If everyone used them properly (downvote only for off topic or not helpful), rather than just as a disagree button, it would be ok but most people use it to block out opinions that they don’t like. Waypoint (and other more traditional forums) are nice because they force you to engage with someone in dialogue if you disagree with them.

Never noticed this. That’s pretty funny!
