I love how Master Chief's personality still fits from halo 4-5 to infinite

It still makes sense that Chief talked a bit more and was more emotional in 4 and 5 due to cortana’s rampancy and death. He has nothing left and goes rogue the moment he sees a chance to see her again.

In infinite, he’s back to his calm, stoic, and silent type yet again since he’s buddies again with the weapon.

343 really got lucky and turned their ship around to a great campaign

I feel like he branched out a bit more in this game though - you could feel emotions from him when speaking with the weapon, when finding dead Spartans and when he was speaking/listening to Echo-216.

I definitely felt there was a more human side to him being shown to us instead of machine.
