It’s a great game and a great step forward for the halo series.
Careful what you say out loud. I’ve been defending this game all day to the people who’ve started rant threads, and man, have I taken some serious flack.
But for what it’s worth, I agree whole-heartedly.
I have really enjoyed halo 5 so far, already lvl 90. Yay.
I think Halo 5 has great gameplay, and great environments in the campaign, although the story is another matter. I like the multiplayer and I’ve played it almost every day since launch, but now I’m starting to wonder what 343 was doing in the 3 year timeframe they had to make the game. Seriously, where’s Oddball, Infection and KoTH? Why wasn’t Forge available at launch? I think 343 is lazy, taking shortcuts almost everywhere so the is game easier to make. A perfect example of this is the Warden, completely recycled from each fight. I like the game but it’s also a disappointment for me, I was hoping that 343 was actually not going to fail like with Halo 4 and MCC.
I bash it a lot, but it isn’t entirely bad.
Even though the gameplay has things that I wish weren’t there, I still think it’s a bit fun to play.
I just can’t stand the way 343 is handling this game.
I really like halo 5 its by far my favorite halo and yea i have played all the other halos for all of you who will ask and yes i like every single halo out there even reach and halo wars but my favorite is by far halo 5 because of the step forward it took

Me too, and to think yesterday I was defending them. I want them to be replaced now, with someone who will actually bring Halo back to its former glory.

I agree completely man, all these people complaining about Halo since 4 and even now have not learned to truly appreciate such an original and heavily lore entrenched story. I absolutely love the series and am glad to see that some share my thoughts on the topic instead of seeing constant complaint threads about ungrateful players who love to whine and take excellent things for granted.
maps and gametypes are the only downside to this title
