Too much hate out there. I love the game. It has it’s flaws like any game but in the end it owns.
Glad to know there’s some positivity out there.
May I ask what in particular makes it own? For the most part people who don’t like the game explain what they don’t like while those who do just say it is good. I mean the Custom Game options are pathetic, Forge is a mixed bag of new settings to work with but not having really good environments to use, and the story…oh dear lord how that could’ve been so much better…so much better.
I guess for starters I enjoyed the campaign but it may help my gf played the campaign with me despite not liking Halo… Granted she did play Borderlands 1,2 and Skyrim with me. I do also enjoy the online play. I know people complain about well everything but people still have option to use the same things as anyone else.
I get every game has a bajillion things to hate on but I try to enjoy what it is and remember back when a game was released it’s what you got. You couldn’t get updates.
On a side note if things should be a nerfed I would suggest the Banshee. I have six perfections with it.
Halo 4 was my favourite campaign.

I had so much fun today with my new load out. I did dominion, BTB, oddball, slayer. My new load out is so fun and the gameplay as well. The acrobatics of combat and all!

Not at first, you have to unlock weapons and such. And even then, the game does really boil down to a DMR fest. It dominates at practically every range rendering other weapons useless. I’d love to use the Carbine, but why when I am at a huge disadvantage? I’d love to use Pulse Grenades, but unless they are used precisely, they suck. Plasma Grenades have so much utility.

Except now there are updates that can be made to fix the game.

Sooner see some weapons get a nerf first, like the Boltshot.
The pulse grenades were the second weapon mastery that I got.
The first one was the boltshot, because its forerunner and I wanted to use the forerunner weapon.
The pulse grenades, I like them a lot! They are good at finishing enemies and weakening then a lot. Also good at killing people who underestimate it.
Even in BTB, the games I’ve played recently, I’ve been doing not bad with a suppressor.

Yes, well, you just seem to have a certain affinity for Promethean weapons that borders on the absurd Erick. Suppressor is good though.

As far as the Banshee perfections go I usually would shoot the missile and then dive bomb with plasma machine gun fire… I guess I worked a strategy out on how I use it.
As far as the DMR goes I do start with it but I have had success with all the weapons.
DMR- BTB all the way
BR- I don’t use it much but I picked it up off a corpse once and went a spree Vegeta would be proud of
LR- I do the best with this but I hate the orange…
PP- BTB
Pistol- Usually small team or SWAT…I love it in Swat.
All Automatics- Close range in BTB
In the end it just seems to be if you can keep your calm and enjoy the game… Soooo just have fun -Yoink!-.

Far Cry 3’s campaign is amazing, and it’s map editor puts Forge and every other console shooters to shame. The multiplayer is lacking, though.
I’m in the same boat; I love Halo 4 to death and will continue to pop it in occasionally as I work on my backlog; Dishonored, Far Cry, Forza, Super Castlevania, etc, etc…
It bores the crap out me. It’s better than black ops but that really isn’t saying much. Halo 4 has given me a push to properly complete skyrim, I suppose that’s a positive.
