I love Halo 4, but there's always one thing..

…That just bugs the crud out of me, and that is forge mode (a few things only, though). Ok so I recently found out that the 1 million budget doesn’t exist anymore, and we’re stuck with the old, boring $10,000 budget. Woo hoo… Come on really? Not even $100,000? “Well what would you do with that?!” You may ask… and my reply is: Whatever I want! I thought forge mode is suppose to be making the maps you WANT, not making maps you’re restricted to making. I mean they already have the piece limit…

I’m not saying Halo 4 is bad because of this, in fact I love the game to death… but I think they flopped when they made this change to the game.

Also I was disappointed to not see the Falcon make a return (At least for custom games only). I loved having a UNSC aircraft that could have more than just one person on it (Or at least bring back the hornet… please?).

Now the last thing, which I know(/hope) they can change in the future: A lack of open area for Forging. I know they gave us 3 maps, but I miss having one big open map (Or parts of a big map that is). I feel really restricted in Ravine personally.

And now this isn’t a deal breaker for all of Halo 4, or even forge mode in general. I’ve made a pretty sweet map with forge, but I’m just saying things I’d like to have seen.

I completely agree with all your forging comments. It shouldn’t be that hard for them to make another foundry or sandbox esque map. NO MORE GIANT HILLS THAT WE HAVE TO FORGE OVER!

Also I too was disappointed by the lack of any UNSC flying vehicle. My best memories come from the falcon and hornet :frowning:

The only problem I had with Forge is the fact that you can’t zoom or go in to “precision mode”

yea Im with everyone in agreeing with your disappointment in Forge mode.

I guess all we can hope for is that they might take the time to revamp some settings in Forge Mode in a future Update/Patch.

I havent used Forge just yet, but I’m definitely gonna play around with it later, so than I can at least have more insight on what the ups n downs are of it.
