Because I own noobs at it. Halo 2 multiplayer takes more skill than any other Halo. You can’t just spray with an AR and the lunge 15 feet to melee somebody. I love it because it has unique maps. I love it because the BR rocks and the gun combinations are diverse and fun. It’s just awesome. Too bad it doesn’t work correctly yet.
H3 is so much better than h2 because it always gives you a fighting chance. H2 let’s a stacked team win 50-10. Not fun or competitive
My only problem is that Halo 2 is way too team-based. If even one person on your team sucks or quits, you will lose unless the opposing team is horrible.
Jumping while grenade and BR spamming right…

This for sure. Thats the main issue. ONE weak link ruins your chances
I love Halo 2 because it’s the most skilled based Halo after CE. Strafing matters. Map control is key. You have to make good decions. This is what kills newer players that started with Reach/4. They are not used to being punished for making a bad push. I hear all these complaints about grenade spam and over my thousands of H2 games I never noticed it because I didny run around randomly. Seriously people are complaining about h2 because it truly takes smarts and skills.

If you got smashed 50-10 in Halo 2, you don’t deserve a fighting chance. You deserve to get smashed 50-10.
Doesn’t Halo 2 have the stickiest melee lunge?

Yea, but it takes three to kill someone. And if they have any sleeps left what so ever the damage won’t bleed through and kill them.
This makes it kinda just as balanced as melees in h3 and h4, even though your melee almost never misses.
On a side note I think halo 3 had the most balanced multiplayer, while I think halo 2 had the most balanced maps.

Wait why does Hlo 2 let a stacked team win and Halo 3 doesn’t? Halo 2 and halo 3 have basically identical ranking systems in them. Are you drunk?

Why do people keep posting that Halo 2 takes 3 melees to kill. It is most def only 2 melees to kill. BXB is heavily used because of this.

I fixed that for you. You can thank me later. But Halo 2 easily comes in 2nd place.
Halo 2 originally took 3 melees to kill. Personally I always thought that would be better for the franchise.

Halo 2 originally took 5 melees to kill.

Well, Halo 1 also took 3 melee hits to obtain a kill.

Go in to a custom game with a friend right now. It takes 3 melees to kill someone at full health when it’s not from the back. Guarantee it

Um dude I have been playing Halo 2 nonstop it does not take 3 melees to kill someone. I think I would have noticed this after 150 games of halo 2 in the MCC and like 20,000 in the orginal halo 2. Not to mention you should NEVER be 2 meleeing someone unless you are BxBing. Only scrubs just run up to someone and try to melee them to death

Then post a video of you killing someone with full health with two melees in H2 right now. Not H2A, just halo 2. They may have changed it in H2A.

LOL I don’t know how to video record myself. WTF Asking me to prove that with a video is as pointless as me asking you to tak e apicture of the sky to prove it is blue. You are the one claiming it is 3 therefore you have the burden of providing proof. Show us 10 straight kills where it takes you 3 melees a piece.
If there are glitches where it is taking you 3 melees then it is because 343 went the lazy route and used the halo 2 Vista PC port of the game which has tons of glitches instead of using the real version.
