I understand I’m likely in the minority here. I’m not disputing that more game specific play lists should have been included in the original set up, but cross games by no means kill the game for me.
However regarding the majority of you who have an issue with them, I don’t see what the huge deal is. Maybe it’s because I’m equally skilled across halo titles, jumping from one to the other is fun for me. Halo CE-3 are all great games, and even taught myself to tolerate halo 4 enough to not quit out. (Yea, the games bad and doesn’t take as much skill, but if you quit out when it gets voted you’re a drama queen). In addition, outside of BTB every game has it’s own play list, so you have an obvious option if you don’t like cross game play lists.
So what features of particular halo titles are so terrible to you weenies that the desire to rage quit overwhelms you when they get voted? I’m honestly curious. I understand the concept of having a favorite game, but being upset to the point that you quit when that preference isn’t voted is confusing to me.
I love it as well however, I for one am a bit tired of people always choosing Valhalla in BTB and I do have a friend who will refuse to play H4 because of ordenance. I am not defending him however because even though H4 MM was the worst of them all only a baby would just refuse to play it.
I have no problem with crossgame playlists. I like the old and the new Halos. But there is no -Yoinking!- SWAT, no Multi Team, no Objective, no Doubles & BTB doesn’t work like it should. Everything is Showdown and finally we have Snipers, but SWAT was removed… what is 3v5i doing there?

I would prefer to have separate playlists as I would prefer to play what I am in the mood for however cross games playlists are still okay with me I just enjoy what ever comes up never quit. I like all Halos relatively equally Halo 2 was my favourite but while still fun to play nowadays mainly due to having the best maps IMO it does feel kind of slow.I think for current times Halo 4 is the best in terms of playability as in it feels fresh and up to date. The only thing that lets Halo 4 down slightly is the maps IMO and some other minor issues. Having no choice for spartan abilities and no ordinance has made the game a one hell of a lot better.

Halo 2 feels slow? 4v4 H2 gameplay is the most fast paced in the series imo.
And yea the game should have shipped with more game specific play lists.

Yes to me it feels slow the base movement speed etc and the time it takes to get from one side of the map to another feels like it takes an age. This my not be true what I say factually but it is how it feels to me. To me Halo 4 feels faster and just more playable for a longer period of time. If ranks do come my mind may change but for now this is how I feel it is only an opinion. So do not get me wrong as I do know for a fact that in Halo 2 you can strafe properly unlike in Halo 4 but it is just the actual feel of the game to me itself is slow.
