Yesterday I had the best day ever! So I was playing a bitta ranked swat and got matched against a team of Champs (I’m Plat 4). My team got absolutely destroyed but it was a small price to pay to have the pleasure to play against the best in the world! But my awesome day didn’t end there. I got matched against a mix of Champs and Onyx players next game too! I couldn’t believe my luck, I was fighting against these really skilled players and got whipped about the place as did the rest of my team. Sometimes even killed the moment I spawned. Imagine how good you’d have to be to know these spawns like the back of your hand! I tipped my fedora to these gents and messaged them to say “GG”.
One might say “Hey, that’s not right that you’re playing against much better players and drop rank for losing”, but I say screw that! Playing against these ridiculously good Halo players and getting my butt kicked only makes me wanna play more. When I see my rank dropping to Gold, I just say “guess it’s time to git gud boiiiiiiii”. What a time to be alive! I would be super disappointed if 343 let us play against only players of similar rank in Halo Infinite because where’s the fun in that??? As a matter of fact, one might even boycott the game altogether if such a scandal happened.
343, stay awesome. Keep up the good work.

This happened to me the other night too! Swat AND Slayer!
I was just pleased as a peach to face up against droves of players way outside of my skill gap, too!
Like that’s what I’m talking about in an enjoyable online multiplayer matchmaking experience! Haha who even wants to win, or get kills, or take a few steps around the map? I know I don’t!
Whoever implemented these matchmaking changes, boy I’d sure like to shake their hand and thank them for a positive turn around to matchmaking. Trueskill 2 is the bomb dot com!

Yeah Durok, this is an appreciation post. Don’t come spewing that trash in here. Mods are very fair and open minded.
I would like to point out a couple of things
1:it sounds like you are trying to get all buddy buddy with 343
2: I highly doubt this really happened
3: also to be fair you are kind of criticizing Durokretis’s post.
