for some reason in the deathmatch it says defeat and my team loses when we clearly are about to destroy the other teams base has happened multiple times hack glitch or how do u win I thought u gotta destroy there base
I just had this happen to me where I was completely destroying an opponent’s base and then it says defeat and I’ve lost. This is so frustrating with this beta with SO MANY problems. I loved the original Halo Wars and still play it but I’m seriously thinking about not getting this new bs.
I have the same experiences. We are winning big time. But, my guess is it a Beta Test. Glitches, bugs. So it’s not the full game installment. We are playing with limit. Sometimes, you gotta think how CPU works. How CPU thinks. & how CPU language is (like our language is English, the CPU language is numbers.) D E F E C T agggghhh hahahaha…I’m looking forward to 02/21/2017!
Not sure if this thread is referring to losing in domination and not noticing. I was playing deathmatch and it just did that to me, I was pushing back and then it just said defeat. I was like wait did they kill my base and I didn’t notice? Then I realized they couldn’t have fought me in the middle and killed all my bases at the same time. 
Happened to me to in deathmatch.
Suddenly came up as ‘defeated’.
Must be a bug (or perhaps losing on time?)
But certainly wasn’t losing in the game. It was a fairly long game but I had good map control and had the upper hand. None of my bases where under serious threat, (I was building out of them moments beforehand)
I was attacking two bases at once… I wonder if that made for too much computing for the system to handle…

It says defeat when you get disconnected from the game. It has happend to me while im playing with my friend. He didnt get disconnect but i did so he got a victory while i lost…
Yeah this just happened to my friend. He and I were absolutely winning. About 90 min in we were about to take the last base and he said his screen said defeat.
This happened to me and caused me to drop in placement. Another bug they overlooked after the update? Too late to fix now.
It’s happened to me as well. I’m not sure why but I think it’s a bug in the game.
UNSC powers have a chance to cause this defeat.
Yeah happened to me 2 times now. Just went okay… that’s beta for yeah. Report it and go on to next game
