Y’all don’t need to hyjack the thread. I have issues with the way the matchmaking system works and with some of the vehicle balance. I still love halo infinite but the unfair teams in btb as far as I’m concerned is the largest issue I’m having with the mode despite se balance and design issues I still do like the mode. Just not getting matched into losing matches for days in a row because that is a flaw in the games matching system.

Oh yeah, it did get distracted a bit. Still, like I said, you either need to play with other people on mic, make a team to fight other teams, or start a topic insisting 343 makes an option for solo matchmaking BTB disabling fireteams to balance playing with randoms
An issue with randoms is that apparently mic doesn’t work in BTB, mic only works in fireteams, so you can only talk to the other 3 people in your BTB fireteam, not the entire team, and that’s stupid for objectives, because your randoms in your fireteam might not care about the objective, but some other people in your team might

Most of the time when people in BTB have mics they are just rude in some way, and not interested in winning. I got called a bunch of racial slurs earlier.

One of my larger complaints about Infinite is it is almost entirely “Team Based” meaning you need a team of friends or reliable people to enjoy this game. Even in BTB you don’t get that classic “casual” experience BTB used to offer. So BTB doesn’t even feel like BTB, it just feels like 4v4 arena but 12v12 arena, it sucks. I think Halo 5 really started this which is why I did not like BTB and Warzone in that junk.

I occasionally find myself on the winning team despite my abysmal performance. That probably averages itself out.
Yep start of every game of btb my team has at least 2-3 afk’rs, then by the end of game there is 5-6 players that have went negative double digits with very low kills.

I’ve been playing quick match and slayer today and it’s so inconsistent, one game I’m playing like onyx and diamond level players and our team has 0 chance, next minute I’m playing against people who are very new to the game. There’s no balance. This is all social and this should not be that kind of an issue, big team battle just takes this and ramps it up to 11.
In the past week I have not won a big team battle game. More often than not I myself am playing fairly well but this game is Not giving me a chance with the way the teams are balanced. It’s so beyond frustrating like I am discouraged by the lack of focus on this issue from both the community and 343. Everyone seems focused on the store and ranked gameplay, meanwhile social gameplay is the life blood of the game because its what most people play.
Honestly i feel that i hate halo infinite right now, ive never had this much problems with a halo game in my life up until this one, secondly it’s literally every match i play im on the losing team, its honestly infuriating and demoralizing to the point playin games isnt fun when theres no reward factor, thats the reason people play video games in the first place is because it gives that rewarding feeling when you can win and feel abit of praise for it, halo infinite on the other hand not so much, ive only played 166 matchmade games and won 12, i barely touch the game now unless im with friends but even then im not having fun
