This terrible team matching is going to make me quit playing BTB I swear, I literally can’t get into a fair match.
Every single match is against a high level team with an inferior team it’s extremely frustrating I literally have not won btb in days.

what seems to be the biggest issue? I have lots of games where my teammates literally just DON’T SHOOT anything, and run around dying like bots
Literally all try hard teams all the time! Like high level, it’s so broken, I’m solo matching and literally every game the other team is better than ours.
It’s making me pretty upset that the matching is this bad.
Playing BTB without friends in a party was always miserable. Randoms are practically worthless in objective modes. I’d find myself doing most of the flag and zone captures and juggling up to 4 power cores by myself. Everyone is just doing challenges instead, or can’t be bothered to care about winning, since you get the same XP for losing or doing nothing. By far the worst BTB experience since Halo 4.
I’d normally suggest LFG some people that also want to win, in a party chat, but good luck finding people that want to play Infinite now. It just keeps getting worse all the time. Without an event this week, I don’t even play but one day during Tenrai now.

It’s never been this miserable for me though. I’m literally losing over and over again and the matchmaking system is so stupid it’s not compensating its just matching me up with high level teams over and over again, I literally haven’t won a match in days and I’m carrying my weight.
I’ve played plenty of matches against teams of sweats just dominating my team of randoms. I mean crushing our team. Humiliating them. No amount of carrying could help. They were too organized. I truly believe anyone enjoying Infinite is doing so because of party chat with friends. No teams can be that organized with all randoms. It’s just not fun to play with randoms against organized teams.
It’s like that in a lot of games. Someone starts a team and dominates, people get tired of losing to teams, so they start a team, and then there are now more teams, and more people get sick of losing with their randoms, it becomes a vicious cycle. It got so bad in Destiny that people do freelance or custom matchmaking to play with no teams enabled, like how FFA doesn’t allow fireteams.
If 343 made a “no fireteams” option of BTB, it might fix the balance issue. Good luck convincing them though.

I’m having fun. I consistently top frag almost every game, and I finally get to destroy vehicles which is my favorite thing to do in halo games.
I build this foundation upon the burning husks of warthogs.
7th game tonight and another loss. I think I just gotta give up on btb until they do an update to the way trueskill works, it’s just not fun right now. No one should be losing every game, least of all when they’re a solid halo player

I’m a big fan of getting flashbanged by Phantoms so the white screen can hide the instant despawn.
I’m equally a big fan of the enormous danger warning window of a vehicle overheating, so people can just hop out without dying when it explodes, preventing me from getting vehicle kills for those specific vehicle kill challenges.
We can’t just expect 343 to be able to pull off Halo 3 graphics and effects. They don’t have the staff, money, or technology to compete with the Xbox 360.

Then don’t play BTB… oh that’s right… 343 is so stupid they put multiple vehicles including power ones on 4v4 maps. Sounds like an issue you should take up with this disgrace of a developer.

Lol I was just being a smarty pants, I enjoy both using vehicles and destroying them. This game ruined both… can’t even enjoy using the worthog anymore and can’t enjoy destroying them either because it doesn’t feel as satisfying like the other titles.

Idk what you mean. Infinite is still a beta. It’ll be as good as Halo 3 when it’s done in 10 years.
