first I am going lore wise not game play in its mechanics the pulse grenade was cool lore wise but terrible in game play, Well I am talking about how effective they would be against the flood for example the pulse grenade would be the perfect weapon to combat infection forms with an instant orb that would incinerate the infection forms, compare the splinter grenades homing… “splinters” I guess they would be terrible against a mass amount of enemies were the pulse could easily stop a mass amount of infection forms the splinter could only stop around 10, then the rifles okay the scatter shot scatters and incinerates, The scatter helps it hit multiple targets then incinerate them to prevent them from getting re infected by an infection form. the incineration cannon spreads secondary explosions everywhere, Just shoot a pure form or something stronger and the secondary explosions will just incinerate combat and infection and carrier forms around it. And the Binary rifle shoots a continues beam that incinerates the targets, you can strafe with is and just plow through ranks of flood forms. and in the incineration, I already said it could prevent reinfection but it could also prevent carrier forms from blowing up and creating more infection forms. now the odd ones out, the suppressor and light rifle I guess the suppressors tracking bullets could help hem hit but they don’t strike me as “made to combat the flood” like the others do. So I guess time to wrap this up, I have nothing to say so here done.
