I like this game a lot but matchmaking is the most frustrating part

I really like this games core but I’m currently finding the matchmaking system is starting to push me away from it, between every single time I match into BTB it’s completely mismatched teams and we havehalfthe players of the other team and the clear skill based matchmaking under the hood in non ranked games making many games frustrating and way too try hard.

It bums me out because I love the core of this game, but when I look at my stats and I’m literally winning 48% of my games as an above average player I think this game is suffering from the same matchmaking issues that Halo 5 was, and I stopped playing that game much faster than any Halo game.

This is just feedback, but I think it’s meaningful feedback because I think this game as a semi casual player is punishing.and that’s not even touching on the cheaters I’ve run into and the convoluted process or reporting them.

If there were true unranked playlists and there was an effective and easy way to report cheaters I think this game would be more of a joy to play on an every day basis.

Almost every single game I’ve matched into today has been a mismatch. Less players on our team most of them with marine level bots doing very little to help, the other team is full of good players. I’ve now lost 6 or 7 games in a row despite playing well. This is a huge issue.

I genuinely think that if I have a 1.62 K/D in social slayer and am marking targets consistently for team mates and I’ve lost 55% of my games its a failure of this games matchmaking design. I’m really not sure how this game is supposed to be fun when it’s functioning like this in a social setting.
