I see a lot of people getting mad at the end scene when the SIV’s are complementing each other. What they have to remember is that SIV was former ODSTs and marines, so they are use to being close and complementing. Just because SIV aren’t like Sll and Slll(Silent) doesn’t make them bad. Also for “Spartan Chatter” you show be able to change your voice like Halo Reach. “Spartan Chatter” should be toggle on/off as an option.
I also think the end game winning animation is cool. I just hope they have many different animations once the retail game is out. Maybe like 5 different versions.
I’d rather they just remove it, some of us would probably just want to get in, out of games without seeing the same animation over, over. Hate to think how annoying this would look if playing BTB with 64 players.

What is the fundamental difference between seeing an animation or staring at a black screen and scoreboard for a while like in previous Halo games.

New doesn’t mean better. It just seems more annoying than anything else. I don’t care for watching the animation every time a game ends. Think about annoying it would get after you played 200+ matches, be forced to watch the same cutscene. I’d take scoreboard over animation anyday because it means I can check how I did. Plus it’s quicker than watching some short clip of something that doesn’t matter.
I would much rather view the post game carnage report than watch some spartans bro-out and high five each other. It’s not a horrible animation, but it detracts from the feeling of being a spartan in battle. It makes it feel more like a simulated war zone, or some kind of paintball match. I have few complaints about this beta, but this is one of them because it only takes away from the original halo experience.
Need to add:
Victory:
-Chest Bumps
-Fist Bumps (one with blow it up, one without)
-The ole “Good Game” (Butt smack)
Defeat:
-The team outraged and bewildered (looking around for the reason of how they possibly lost)
-The enemy team writing things down (upon inspection it is a “Nerf List”)
-the losing team of Spartans giving a blurred out middle finger to the camera
