What kind of Spartan was palmer? III or IV?
IDK, maybe there’s some trauma there.
Maybe I’m just not remembering the abolute scale of how unprofessionally awful she was, but IDK, she seemed like a soldier at least.
It’s ok to hate a character because they’re not nice people. You are supposed to hate Tartarus, but he’s a great character.
Agryna seems completely detached from reality. Both in how she was made and got the job and in how she behaves. Maybe she’s the knee-jerk reaction to palmer. But y’know, a boring commander would be preferential to someone actively frustrating.
Palmer is a S4, before that though, she was an ODST. And if you read her stories and how they were written, she was so much more likeable in the books as an ODST.
Somehow her portrayal and maybe it’s just arrogance, but her S4 portrayals are so cringe and irritating.
As for Agryna, I’ve made this statement elsewhere but she seems like a forced attempt at a “New Sgt Johnson”. I appreciate the effort but… just no. Agryna however, at least feels like she’s very interested in the player as an up and coming Spartan, be it that they see great potential or she’s just being very nice.
Ultimately I think Agryna’s a fine addition to the character roster, but if you wanna introduce her like that, have her take an active part in our MP Narrative, then shove us into LSS for an entire Event span… well I’m never gonna grow to like her cos I don’t fight alongside her.
Here’s me fingers crossed we get an MP PvE mode where you get Agryna, Dihn and Eklund as Firefight AI companions.
Nah.
It is too derivative of the main design of the Mark VII Gen-3, especially given that the Gen-1 and Gen-2 versions were based off of the Mark V Bravo design.
Still dont think it requires a new core, just segment the arms and glue them on, a helmet is a helmet and the chest can change the entire piece as far as im concerned.
New core required.
I’m just hoping that cross-core will be implemented well enough so that Armor Core is just basically a cosmetic option to choose what suit your Spartan is wearing and then we just get to augment the armor as we see fit.
Spartan Agryna is literally the worst excuse for a Spartan there’ has ever been, her joyful demeanour diminishes the importance of a Spartan by taking a playful attitude. She’s in charge of the new generation of Spartans and she does it with a uncharismatic smile and cheesy lines. Best thing you can do with a character like this is kill her off in a DLC
I agree here. My main gripe with Palmer wasn’t her cocky too the chief behavior. It was her pure hatred for Halsey that I felt was overdone. I know it was explained I just didn’t get it. The UNSC kidnapped kids for soldiers to fight insurrectionists. The UNSC funded Halsey’s R and D. The UNSC deployed the spartan II’s. Palmer joined the UNSC and willingly submitted to augmentations. Why the hatred, Palmer wouldn’t be the commander of the Infinity Spartans without Halsey. I just can’t get passed the anger Palmer has for Halsey. She should have been an insurrectionist instead of a Spartan/Commander in the UNSC.
