It seems like I am the only reach supporter who is not incredibly selfish. I like Reach more than H3, and hey you may too, but that doesn’t change the fact that the vast majority of the halo (and gaming in general) community does not feel the same way.
Wanting H4 to be like Reach because you liked Reach is INCREDIBLY selfish.
“I don’t care about the population so long as I can find a game”
Do people listen to themselves when they say this? Can they not hear how self centered and selfish this is?
Let me translate it for you
“I don’t care if other people have fun so long as I do.”
If you’re a true fan of halo(and a decent human being) you will want the game to appeal to as many halo fans as possible and make as many people happy as possible. Even if it will make you less happy.
thank you now i know that i am not the only one who feel the same about reach
People are expecting to much for H4
Remember Reach ,no video no nothing like now .
And than bamm a boring BETA and a Medium game .
All Matchmaking map are campaign maps lol wow.
My secret for H4 (No expectations)
I…actually agree. I preferred Reach, it disappoints me how it’s so looked down upon. But the only things I want implemented is Invasion…and equal or better graphics.

Actually, Reach was confirmed around e3 2009. It recieved it’s first gameplay trailer at VGA. Bungie and Machinima started showing off beta gameplay in late winter and spring, the beta was actually amusing and it was getting reviews around the same equivalence to Halo 3 at release. And the maps were made first then they were implemented into campaign. And even then, so what? CoD has been doing that for years.
Halo Reach was Bungie’s version of a Military Halo game, Halo 4 is more likely to be similar to that of Halo 3. There will not be moments were charcters in your team are killed off or terrible ways of dying.

Now this guy knows what he’s talking about! Great job OP!
Nothing like it? Well, -Yoink!-, there goes all the engine advancements and innovation and everything else that has enhanced the game.

AS a halo 3 fan I hope everyone agrees with this because if we have a reach repeat then everyone will tear there eyes out reach fan or not

…I love Reach, I like the military like combat it made it more pulse pounding and exciting. I agree with EpicGamerMonkey, and I’m completely positive that they will not go back to halo 3 tech and Frankie said it himself in the Gameinformer interview that they will be using the existing tech (reach) with a few innovations.

How do you know???

I think you mean all those innovations that trounced the game and made it plummet.
