It is because a lot of you complain about the new things added and you guys say “competitive halo is dead this is just a cod rip off.” But can I remind you all that competitive Halo is still in the damn game. It just needs its own MM gametype. Just because the competitive layout of Halo isn’t the part that is front and center doesn’t mean it isn’t there. I mean come on. What happened to the great and powerful halo fanbase?
EDIT: Again here I go venting. Sorry everyone. But everytime I post these kinds of topics I always seem to find the best members of the forum. Didn’t mean to Rage and troll (again).

Isn’t Halo 4 supossed to be bring entirily new things to the series? So why complain?
The game’s not even alot like CoD.
The Custom Loadouts are far more limited, and are just a solution to the “ignored weapons on map” problem every Halo has suffered from. Also, I don’t see players spawning choosing from 10 different Sniper Rifles, and 4 different Rocket Launchers do you? I just see the same basic weapon archetypes available, each with it’s own distinct role, but each basic non-power weapons.
Not to mention they make SENSE as a forward movement. What else would you suggest them do? Continue to force players who DONT LIKE BATTLE RIFLES and just want a friggin Carbine to spawn with BRs anyway? That’s ridiculous, what’s wrong with choosing one or the other?
Grenade Indicators? Ok, yeah. And it was REALLY FAIR when you didn’t have surround sound, or even a stereo headset and had to rely on your TV audio to tell you what direction a grenade was in. What about the deaf, or deafing? Is it fair that they don’t get to hear grenades around them and suffer a massive disadvantage for it? I didn’t think so. Besides, it’s alot less noob friendly than CoD, grenades still explode far more quickly, and it only gives you a general direction, not an exact location.
Now I’m trying to think of more CoD-ish things but I’m having a REALLY hard time. I could say Perks, but honestly Tactical Packages and Support Upgrades are harmless in comparison, most of them don’t even do anything you could call game changing, the only really bad ones are Resupply and Sensor.

Complaining about complainers isn’t near as bad, at least they’re not criticising an amazing game.
OT: I think it will be an amazing game filled with replay value. The multiplayer looks awesome and will be awesome, whether it’s as awesome as Halo 3’s, I don’t know.
Then we also have three forge environments with their own unique objects which aren’t all grey, we have fifty free Spartan Ops missions which are open to so many possibilities and a whole new adventure with Master Chief!
What more could I want?

they’re complaining because they think that the new things and thing being brought back from reach are in balanced and un-skillfull making the game counter intuitive to competitively play.
personally I have nothing yet that I truly dislike. I have thing that are a change to me and need to/will grow on me but nothing I hate. I pumped for the game. But there will always be people who irrationally complain just cause they can.

That is pretty obvious. However, people are entitled to their opinions on what makes a good Halo game. Don’t get me wrong, I think Halo 4 looks to be a great Halo game!
COD never changes and its one of the most popular games out there OP.

I agree. I’m a Halo fan since 2007 and i have no doubts that Halo 4 is going to kick -Yoink-.

Been a Halo fan since the beginning and I think Halo 4 will be next Halo 2 and kick undeniable amounts of -Yoink-.

Or they have legit complaints, but because they clash with your opinion it’s easier to label them “irrational” than try to see things from their perspective, or just apreciate a difference in opinion.
OT: Some people will dislike H4 because the tastes and personal preferences of people globally are an extremely broad spectrum. The good news is those of us that like/love the game can play it as much as we want and people who dislike the game can’t do anything about it. Kinda makes this thread seem silly, huh?

Anyways halo 4 should be great all the new stuff looks cool and sure there is going to be minior glitches that will get exploited and maybe damage boost is bad and PV will be a nusience (so spelled that wrong), but no game is perfect.
