So I’m expecting all kinds of interesting replies, but then again, this might just get buried. Did some of you even realize that (you are as much of the problem as 343 actually is?)
I know, I know, what is this person talking about. What I mean is, if 343 didn’t base the game around the battle pass/shop to where quite of few of you actually buy from the shop. Conditioning you to think that this is how the game should be played. Would things be where they are now with all the complaints?
See, it’s easy to blame someone else for your own actions that are contributing to this system, but it’s rare that people will take responsibility for their own actions. You battle pass players are just as much at fault as 343 is. You gave the okay for them to handle this game as they have, so why don’t most of you man up instead of complaining knowing this is a business to make money, not to make you happy?
Yes, we all know 343 could have gone a better way about things, but, as long as you keep buying that oh-so-special battel pass, you are giving them the okay to keep heading down the same path.
But the people complaining are the people not supporting what they complain about for the most part. All 343 need to do is catch the whales and nothing else matters and the whales aren’t the complainers.
Do you want me to point out what i feel needs fixing or do you want me to just play until i’m bored of this game and keep my mouth shut? I don’t recall ever being toxic and, the shutting down of the reddit by 343 seems very sketchy… I paid for the battle pass i bought one other item… so
I purchased the battle pass expecting a similar value to that of other games like fortnite, rocket league, destiny, etc. This battle pass is pretty underwhelming in both rewards and progression. I don’t mind a battle pass system or a cash shop but the way they’ve done it in this game just isn’t what I would expect and feels like a total cash grab at every opportunity. (ie. over padding of swaps, reliance on swaps to progress, etc.)
With that said, if this is how they are going to do it then I won’t be purchasing the next battle pass.
I didn’t buy the battle pass or pre-order. There was a huge red flag to me when I heard not just 1, but 2 directors walked off this project. That was all I needed to know…
I bought it and I´m disappointed, not doing it again until it improves a lot. love the gameplay not going to stop playing, but there is no way I pay more for the game until we get better value.
By all means, express what you could suggest being fixed. Saying nothing at all solves nothing for anyone.
It looks like to me that 343/Microsoft doesn’t want to truth to be put out there, and I’m not referring to Reddit… But, if the replies are stepping over the line when giving feedback, I can see why they would shut it down, at least from what has been said.
I’ve said plenty throughout this forum like how to use to razorback, how i feel the progression and shop should work, why challenges are kinda stupid as they are. you just have to look around.
I would have thought that that is self-explanatory. Our actions can determine sometimes the outcome of things. If you don’t want to feel miss treated, then take action on it. Just saying something won’t do anything, because a lot of players say. “I won’t buy anymore battle passes again”. Then later you see that they have, that they gave in because of how they have been conditioned to play games.
Well tbf, they pitched something completely different, people believed those words and wanted to support the game but ended up getting something worse. Even the flights progression was better than what we got now.
Imo this is a 50/50, players should had seen if its worth it before paying for it, however i dont blame them if their excitement clouded their judgement. Several friends suffered from this and now they regret it. Im honestly not an impulse buyer, I prefer to see it launching and then wait for reviews to see if its worth it or not.
Besides… spending money on something gives you the right to complain about it so you can what was advertised.
If you spend money on a car or any other device that doesnt work properly you wont stay quiet and “man up” only because the point of the business is make money right? That would be considered a scam, its unethical, specially if they promised something good.
So please stop blaming this on the players, while i agree that buying these stuff only supports the system. Staying quiet “man up” and “being acountable of your actions” its worse than actually giving feedback specially if you actually want the game to be better.
