why does the rank playlist match you up with the WORSE players on team doubles? Like , i can be doing so well winning 2 games back to back then my next teammate is someone thats trash or new to the game … i dont get it, i know i should have my own friend helping me but he cant at times and whenever im ranking up i rank dowm all because i didnt get a sweaty on my team and instead i got a “its just a game “ type of player ughhh
Most ultra competitive players already team up in doubles, meaning that a larger portion of single go players fall into the more casual groups they may still be diamond or platinum tier but they will greatly struggle against Onyx+.
Its just a probabilities issue, if 80% of the competitive players are already taken, so the remaining pool of single players is 75%+ casuals than you will have 75%+ of you matches be with a casual. AFAIK the only way around this is to team up, try the recruitment forum boards to find someone if you need.
H5 has a low player population as it is, anyways, and this also contributes to its crappy ranked games. Your fellow players in any given ranked game, no matter the mode, can cover the whole spectrum. Its not uncommon for me to get into Ranked Slayer(plat5) and wreck the other team, then in the next game, to have a single player on the other team go 25-2 and just **** your **** up. Its pretty usual for golds and diamonds to be playing together. I just think its result of so few players playing on a ranked system. To get a full game sometimes matchmaking just says screw it and will shuffle a high variety of player skills together. Which also leads to lots of people quitting and ranked matches winding up as 4v2’s or 4v1’s even. Which is sad, because I feel like most of the ranked games I play end up basically being decided by which team has quitter and which don’t. I haven’t had a solid 4v4 to completion in like, a while.
Honestly its kind of crappy of 343 to not be using H5 to promote Infinite more. I don’t know why they aren’t doing new playlists or events to kind of hype it up and get people back into H5 for a minute just before release.
