But the grunt mech is too dang OP, yeah yeah I know I sound like I’m complaining. But I haven’t really seen a mod/admin of 343 reply to threads about why he takes 4-5 minutes to kill even with tanks. Because of his horribly overpowered super attack. Even with my full over shield III + upgraded shield armor mod, it still could one hit me. It could one hit my banshee with shield. (Also if there has been a 343 mod/admin reply for this subject, link it up. I’ll find it interesting :D)

Yeah also the grunt mech isn’t all that hard if were being honest. I’ve only failed the grunt mech once which I can remember and that was when FF first released and during the free period.

What do you use to take it down? I have only had it once, emptied a full Selene’s Lance into it, and i had to finish it off with my DMR. That is of course with many teammates also damaging it.
I hate the grunt mech I just got out a brand new corp scriopion (it was WZ not FF) was trying to get to him for the points but of course enemy spartans are around me and 2 other tanks the grunt mech shoots normal needler rounds one explosion thing killed the scriopion just ONE I think it’s called supercombe or something. But that was really unfair

They even have mythic bosses in WZ now. Also I have never failed the grunt goblin he is super easy to kill.

What do you use and what side of the pillar?
Grunt mech really hasn’t given me much trouble. His needler barrage is pretty easy to dodge and only lethal to vehicles if enough hit you to supercombine

Well I would like to use a tank. But I got way more certs than I want and I’m getting other stuff. So dodging his super combine is difficult even more so with incineration spamming knights.
I don’t think so. The only time I’ve ever had trouble with him is on Raid on Apex 7 when there’s like 20 knights all around him. If there weren’t so many strong adds, he would be a piece of cake always.
I agree. I think he needs to be nerfed just a little bit. I’ve raged a couple times trying to take him out, but its just too hard. If you get too close to him, he will pound you or stomp you, which is a one hit kill or brings your shields down really low. The needles are pretty hard to dodge, I can dodge most of them, but if just a few hit you, your dead meat. He reminds me a lot of a hunter that does 2x the damage.
Shoot the face shield and back of the head. You will get lit up hit markers when you do. These are the spots you should be shooting for. Body shots on the mech will do nothing.

Yeah I think they are a bit OP… it seems most ignore it when it spawns because it takes to long to kill and it’s not worth all that effort especially if you do most of the damage and then it gets stolen anyways.

I just posted a thread about the grunt mech yesterday. He is super, super, super easy to kill. If you see him smoking in the front (about 3/4 or 1/2 health) one shot from a binary rifle in the cockpit and/or buring spot will kill him instantly
