I guess the discussion here is how they don’t do any harm to the team at all and you feel the need to potentially throw the game due to a hissy fit of not getting to see an animation?
You go ahead and do that, it seems to be your matches anyway you throw away, and can get you banned.
I on the other hand will continue to be annoyed by it, but continue my merry way knowing I’m not prepared to go to extreme measures such as blatant team killing for something so petty as a “kill steal”.
Then again, team killing for “kill stealing” certainly makes your attitude way better than those who are “kill stealing”, no?
Some people whom play in team games simply see the enemy color, and shoot; They wire themselves this way.
Occasionally I’m sure you’ll get a jerk whom tries to Yoink you, but for the most part I don’t think they mean harm.
I dont get too upset, I mean sometimes they are already shooting or aiming at them before the other person gets there. I’ve had that happen to me, and i’ve had times where im shooting someone with a BR and someone comes up behind them and tries to assassinate them and in that case it’s more like the assassin is stealing from the guy with the rifle. I try not to get upset over stuff like that in games, games are for having fun.
Take it to FFA! That extra millisecond it would have taken for you to get that kill could have resulted in your death at the hands of the opposing team. “There is no “I” in TEAM”
I don’t kill them, I just harass them the whole game keeping their shield flared.
Same. I always plot my kill stealers death when I see them walking up.
If it’s such a big deal, 343i may look at giving the kill to Spartan who started the assassination animation, even if, let’s say I, swoop in a kill em.

If they’re following you around obviously stealing assassinations repeatedly, yeah, dust the -Yoink!-.
If it’s once, don’t be a child; you’re playing a team game. If your victim’s shields are down there’s a good chance your teammate took it by instinctively shooting at the enemy color.
If I see someone in an assassination animation, I’ll generally check around them to make sure someone’s not coming up to Showstopper them, then move on. Sometimes accidents happen, I yoink an assassination, I feel like jerk, I move on.
But by god, if someone starts teamkilling or harassing me for any reason, I will boot your -Yoink- without remorse. I see no reason to put up with a spoiled brat having a tantrum at me.

Yeah, same here. Guy took my assassination in WZA so I spawned a Hog and ran him down. I Arena I just keep them low on shields if there isn’t a vehicle around I can use to “accidentally” splatter them.

No need to. If it’s Warzone, it’s hectic enough, especially if someone is stealing a base. That’s 3-4 seconds compared to insta-killing. Could be costly.
If out in the open? Yeah – maybe. But I wouldn’t kill my own teammates over it. I’ve been more annoyed by worse things, such as bad spawn spots.
I was playing Team Snipers when it was a weekend playlist when a teammate sniped the person I was assassinating, the bullet went through and killed the enemy and also left me shield-less. I no-scoped the player twice in a row and got booted. Kinda sucked but that guy was a -Yoink-, as are all people who steal kills by shooting their teammates assassination victims.
It’s usually pretty obvious when they intentionally do it. So yeah I would throw a game just to get vengeance.
Turn off assassinations. Sorted.
