Whenever I play Infinity Slayer my team loses 200-300 points and their K/Ds are like 5 Kills and 20 Deaths why is this happening?
o.O I don’t know. Maybe you should try to get a full team party? or just keep playing with random people until you find a good team.
How many games has this been going on? If it’s only three or so, I wouldn’t worry about it.
I’ve just come to the conclusion that whenever I play by myself I am placed with a bunch of weapon greedy antisocial teammates against a team with at least 3 people in direct communication with one another. Never really was an issue before CSR so either people are grouping more because they think CSR matters or the matchmaking system got worse at judging equal opponents.
I am almost to the point of quitting because without a party just about every game mode has lost a lot of appeal when I get stuck in situations like described above.
This is pretty much my situation for 90% of my team matchmaking games, especially in Halo 4. Gotta work my butt off and get like 30 kills and 10 deaths for us to even compete with the opposite team, and my teammates often walk right past enemy-held terminals in Dominion… I blame Trueskill.
This CSR nonsense is terrible. I’m a subpar player that is at a CSR 40 on Big Team. I’m playing against jerks that are way too difficult for me.
I’d recommend trying to gather a team if you don’t enjoy losing. I’m sure someone one waypoint would team up with you.
The way I see it is, as long as I do good that’s is all the matters win or loss.
I stay away from infinity slayer though and I don’t think I’ve had a single game due to low players. I’d recommend just going into big team as I notice the end results being a lot closer and the battles have more life to them.
CSR releasing means we’re all rank 1 to start with so for about 20 games in each hopper you’ll pair with morons.

But CSR is messed up so it wouldnt really matter.
I recommend you find other like minded people to play in a group with

Ask yourself this.
Is the problem…
A) people are working together and winning, or
B) you are not working with people as and losing
To me I was tired of Halo shifting into a teamless “lets all run around and have fun because its just a game”-ness that was a problem.

CSR has nothing to do with who youre matched with or against, that would allegedly be trueskill. trueskill is independent of CSR.

CSR represents Trueskill.
Please … search it up. Anyway, the ranking system is broken and that is why you keep losing.
I’ve experienced the same since CSR (not that I’ve played much in the last month or so). I get thrown on a team with people who idle the whole match, while the other team is hyper-competitive. And it’s annoying…
Not everyone feels like joining a group. I don’t like shouting into a microphone while I play, or having to meet up at certain times, or any of that crap.
I just want to jump into a game and shoot Spartans. That’s it - no coordinated attacks, no pre-planned team strategies, no “we’re playing tonight at 8:00,” no nothing. In a game I stick by my teammates, cover people as best I can, watch other player’s backs. I DON’T steal ordnance, betray my teammates, or do any of that other bullcrap. But ultimately I’m just trying to have a good time and not take it so seriously. As has been said a million times on here, Social playlists would be ideal for people like me.
I’m not much of a player, and if the only way to get better is to get all serious and play with a group, then I guess I’ll just have to live with my 0.93 K/D. And if every game of BTB from now on is going to be me versus six guys who are shouting “flank him, he’s on that ridge!” or whatever then I’ll just play Bioshock: Infinite until GTA5 comes out.
OP, im down that same alley with the constant losing in Infinity Slayer. If you are the top player and you still lose, that means you’ve got a team that doesn’t want to win. I recommend finding good players if you want to win
As someone mentioned above, the problem is probably more the lack of teamwork as opposed to your teammates skill levels.
I dont know your a CSR 36 too so you should be paired with at least decent teammates.
> I dont know your a CSR 36 too so you should be paired with at least decent teammates.
Maybe, maybe not.
Trueskill uses the AVERAGE of the team, so if he is good, and the other team is average, then he will be teamed with BELOW average teammates to make the teams even.
I rarely ever play with a party. When I do, it is extremely fun and we usually win the majority of matches in any playlist we play in. However, the majority of my time is spent playing alone with randoms. My overall wins to losses record is 836-827, so I win just a little over half the time. This may or may not be because I’m a heavy support player. I’m usually the type of player to sit back with a DMR, BR, LR, Carbine, whatever, and provide suppressing fire. Most of the time quite frankly, I don’t shoot to kill, I shoot to help my ally around the corner get the kill. My point is, I usually play according to how the rest of my team plays.

Teamwork is the most important thing in this game, and always has been in Halo. This isn’t CoD where you can run around with no regard to your teammates and rack up kills and win the game. Obviously, some players are more casual than others and don’t want to use heavy strategy. The point is, as long as you’re playing Halo (or any video game) there is always some sort of strategy or pattern that will help win. I’ve also played matches where I just can’t finish kills, which is when I take the role of distractor or supporter, where I may just annoy the enemy, place a dent in their shields, then hide and let teammates finish him. The most important thing in Slayer is not really how many kills you get, it’s how often you die. Deaths are points for the opposing team. So in the end, you don’t need to play the medium-range support/driver role that I do, just do your own thing. If you’re trying to win, do what you please, whatever your play-style lends itself to, just try not to die! 5 kills and 1 death is better than 11 kills and 13 deaths

your talking about clans and yes , screw that poop, been there done that, first time they told me I was supposed to come when they called (even if playing a different game with friends) I told them to shove it.
but I beleive that the type of group being refered to in here can also be considered as just a group of friends you link up with to play the game with now and then, not some dumb clan type deal.
