What if there’s no Gravity Hammer in Halo 4? So far, it hasn’t been seen, or announced, and that has me a little worried, if there’s no Gravity Hammer-esque thing in Halo 4, Grifball will be drastically different.
Thoughts?

I was thinking that they would add the Gravity Hammer just to the sandbox and make Grifball possible, without making any sense at all.
If its not there, i am really looking forward to the replacement of it. Hopefully its gonna be a promethean weapon, then it’ll be super interesting.
As far as I can tell, Jiralhanae have not been confirmed in Halo 4. Basically, no Brutes, no Brute weapons. But then again, there weren’t any Brutes in Reach either.
Assume what you wish, but I think you will have to settle for Griffball using Golf clubs. Lol
Frankie said a while back that Grifball will be more or less playable, although it doesn’t exactly confirm the hammer, it is likely something extremely similar will exist.
Keep in mind we haven’t seen a full reveal of the Covenant weapons unlike we have for the UNSC weapons on Wednesday.
how the hell could anybody care about the gravity Hammer
griffbal is going to be in Halo 4 and the Golf cub or anything sporty would fit more than the Hammer

Err, yeah they were :o
Also I’m pretty sure griffball has been confirmed by Frankie.
Didn’t really give it much thought, but I supposse 343 isn’t about to kill one of Halo’s most iconic gametypes. I wouldn’t worry about it, I’m sure it will be there.

Uh…did you play Reach? There were a lot of Brutes in Reach.

Hopefully, I don’t think they would risk killing one of the best gametypes of Halo.
Also, a Promethean melee weapon would be fascinating, with the disintegration effect!
It’ll just end up being a gravity golf club. They’re already using the Reach reskins for prototype guns, it would be easier just to place a golf club and be done with it.
Franky said something about possibly no Grav Ham. He also said you’ll still be able to set up a game of good old fashioned grifball.

They aren’t using anything over from Reach…
They literally ripped the engine in half and rebuilt it. Either way I’m sure the Gravity Hammer or a similar substitute will be present.
Wouldn’t the Golf Club just take it’s place? I mean, it functions EXACTLY like the Hammer in every way so I can’t see why Grifball would be scrapped just for the sole reason that we don’t have the Hammer…

That word, “literally”. I don’t think it means what you think it means.
