I just realized....

It wouldn’t make chronological sense for the Chief to have Armor Abilities, since that was a Spartan III thing. So i highly doubt they will add them in the next game.

Halo reaches MP had nothing to do with the campaign except for some of the levels plus Jorge is a Spartan II and he has armour lock

Not the armor abilites from reach, no … But we dont know that 343 Industries is not going to make something similar to the armor abilities. They can be called something else and be of forerunner tech, but still work the same way as armor abilities. Although I do not think this will happen because of all the criticism and hate Armor abilities got. The G-thrusters scare me though …

To be honest, I’d rather just have tweaked equipment.

Actually armor abilities don’t make any sense period. They do not fit with canon at all.

Spartan III’s did not have a number of different abilities at their disposal. They all had cloaking, and none of them had shields.

They scare the hell out of me too. Jetpack was a huge game breaking part of Reach.

Here’s how I would like to see it played out. In Halo 4 there would be space fighting with space vehicles and crap, you have zero-g thrusters built into your back that can only be used in zero-g so you can essentially fly in space, they have unlimited fuel but since anything in space is virtually weightless you wouldn’t require much fuel to move something even as heavy as a spartan, so you could basically fly and shoot in space.

Sounds cool, but if they were to do that I hope that they would keep it to the campaign.

I would like to see it in multiplayer, on the condition that it is contained within in its own playlist(s).

Those wicked vane/things on his shoulders could be rigged ArmourLock projectors; also his chest piece has what looks to be an engine of some kind. The armour could also be a prototype for Spartan II Lock functions, but may have been scrapped in favor of a faster Mk VII. Nano-tech could facilitate any kind of Equipment or Ability, but I don’t expect the latter to function like it has before.

Sounds like a fun idea for the BETA playlist no? Halo without shields… intense. That would mean no headshooters, cuz SWAT is.
