I Just Had The Best Idea

How about this
What if in halo 6 you can go online and play in a full lobby, whilst being split screen with your friend sitting next to you, both of you play in the same lobby on the same team, but are split screen.
Holy $hit right

So wait the screen would be split in half and you could have 2 people on one xbox?

I say lets wait to see if there is such a thing at this point. Population just keeps diving online. Would like them to make a huge new game and bogged months of updates etc all over again but I say lets focus on fixing this one we pay for lol

Jesus guys, it’s 2016. It’s fun to wish but maybe bring expectations down to what we’re capable of with today’s tech.

Uh. Let’s be realistic here. They still have a while to catch Halo 3. I figured by Halo 14, they’ll have everything in their game that Bungie had in H3.

GoW:UE has split screen and it’s so slow and awful!
Go play that and see if you still want split screen for Halo 5.

With today’s modern technology, is this possible? Can we Halo achieve what no game has achieved before in history of Next Generation of Console Gaming? Could it be that the secret to this technology lie with the Ancient Aliens? 343i Must go to Egypt and decode this mystery from the chambers of the Great Pyramids.

We must enlist minds of existing Nobel Prize winners, Bill Nye, Neil Degrasse Tyson, Morgan Freeman, Tony Stark and Bruce Wayne.

Seriously guys…Xbox isn’t capable of it according to 343. That’s why Gears 4 is having it and COD Black Ops 3. Its sad because I never thought COD could outdo Halo in features but they have.

If someo

While their at it if they could figure out how to make games playable offline as well that would be amazing. Its never been done before… Its going to be tough to figure out.

Cuz one game shows they’ll make the future sequels lack gametypes and playlists as well? H4 had just about everything and mcc had more than enough for each game. I agree h5 lacks in so much but I’m not going to base assumptions that because h5 did it that the rest will as well, not until they do it multiple times in a row anyways.

They didn’t say that. They said it wasn’t possible to have splitscreen and still maintain the 60 FPS, which is true.
As I said previously GoW:UE is a prime example that splitscreening on Xbox One doesn’t work.

Their engine isn’t designed for it, don’t think they ever said the Xbox can’t do it, their engine is purposely designed for the better frames while unfortunately sacrificing split screen. Lesson learned (hopefully), and h6 will have it after retooling the engine.

You Just said they didn’t say that then said split screening on the xbox one doesn’t work… How did COD pull it off then? How is gears? Magic?

How about going ridding 1080p 60FPS. Or is that more important than than splitscreen nowadays?

#Logic.

Things like this make me wonder how much longer Halo will last if 343 continues to make these dumb mistakes that even a 5 year old can point out.

Splitscreen will be enjoyed by a few.
The games quality can be enjoyed by everyone.

To me it is. I’m a solo player and my friends all have their own xbox1 anyway. Could not care less about split tbh. Wait no, that’s not true. I used to hate being teamed up with splitscreeners, they almost always play worse, so keep it gone please.

I for one would actually like this, it sounds fun to be online with a friend sitting next to me

This is the start to an amazing movie!!! COPYRIGHT THIS BEFORE 343 does!

Timesplitters 2 came out in 2002, and it had a campaign, 4-player splitscreen arcade mode, AI bots that you could customize, a salvo of goal-based unlockables, challenges that bent the rules of the game, and a mapmaker that could make MP maps or your own single player missions.
