I just had a realization...

At first, I was iffy about Halo 4, thinking it doesn’t feel like Halo. I went back to play the old ones in result of this and found that they, too did not feel like Halo anymore. Then I realized I had this feeling with EVERYTHING. The feeling of no feeling at all, and I don’t know why, but I’ve been trying to feel things again, and I just can’t do it. This has been digging in my side for a long time now and I hate it. (I know these forums aren’t a place to talk about life problems but it was slightly Halo related, so why not?)

I think you might be depressed. Have something to eat, cause that is what cheers me up. Though having to work out everyday is a con about eating when I’m sad…

Yeah, I think you might want to ask someone else about that.

No I’m definitely not depressed. I have an amazing family to talk to and I laugh and smile a ton everyday. Maybe it’s puberty? I don’t know, but it sucks.

Just watch the latest Halo 4 ad on TV where it’s now $39.99 and only 4 months old. I got a laugh out of that, maybe you will too.

I can only speak from my own experience about what you described…it’s called getting older. Family and so much more is important than games and,one day,you come to realize, CSR Halo 4, where Assassin’s Creed is et and what time period, will there be a Mass Effect 4 and so on, don’t matter that much.

Having a total break from gaming sometimes works.

still 60 bucks here

Thanks a billion times guys! I really needed to let that out and you guys helped me.

I bought Black ops 2 after a month and it was only $40

Maybe your tastes are just changing. It happens. Or you could’ve just burnt out on Halo. Take a long break, maybe even from gaming entirely and the come back and try again.

You have no idea how much this helped. Just to know that someone else had the same problems as I am now. As for the game break part, I’m probably not going to take a COMPLETE break from it, as I only play on Friday to Sunday each week, but I guess I could stop using my iPad a lot.

It’s still £40 in the UK for me. That’s the equivalent to $60.

If you’re just now hitting puberty, you probably shouldn’t be playing an M rated game.

Maybe it’s just Halo fatigue. Or gaming fatigue. Maybe you need to mix it up. I once felt like not playing any videogames. Then on a whim, I bought Blur, despite the fact that I don’t like racing games. After playing that for a bit I got some joy from something I wasn’t expecting and I wasn’t so discouraged from playing previous games anymore.

^^^ This

I’m pretty burnt out on Halo ATM to the point where I only played about 10 games of majestic and haven’t touched it since. I’m playing games that have a great story right now as I’m just so tired of the mindless killing in Halo. For instance I just bought The Walking Dead yesterday and am 2 hours into it and loving it, cleared AC2 for the 3rd time a couple days ago and about a month ago I finished Tales Of Vesperia which is fantastic and it took like 40 - 60 hours.

Just switch up what you play bit, that’s what I do when I’m burnt out on Halo

Nobody listens anymore.

It’s all just talking.

Maybe your tastes have changed and you have moved on.

Nothing wrong with that.

If Halo does not stimulate you anymore, that is totally cool.

Ummmmmmm okay this thread is -Yoinking!- weird.

I’ve been playing Halo 3 non-stop for the past few days. It’s really tiring me out, I’m constantly frustrated by level design and dumb AI.

I am actually missing Halo 4’s Campaign, despite it being a severely limited experience.

I can say this is going to be my last Halo 3 project for a long time. Can’t stand it anymore!
