So, What if they implemented the vehicles and weapons from Warzone… (E.G: The Oni scout hog, or the Light of URS) Into forge?
If this happens, I will shower 343 with my applause, praise, and roses. Any thoughts?
i just want the ability to host games for matchmaking.
oh and the ability to set infinite+bottomless clip in customs.
that way i can give everyone infinite needlers along with max damage resistance and no gravity in a small box room…

My spartan company fellow forgers and I have been wondering if all the warzone weapon variants will be available in forge. It would be a real missed opportunity if they weren’t there, but I’ll it will still be the most epic forge mode imaginable either way.

Creating a way of controlling the AIs (Like ai paths) Would probably be too difficult, but I like your thinking, can’t wait to see what our machinima community do with this game!

Agreed, I find it really stupid how they removed infinite ammo and random weapons…

If you could use all of the fancy Warzone stuff in custom games, then why would you spend real money to try and unlock it in Warzone? That is why we can’t use Warzone stuff in forge, and it’s why they will be highly reluctant to add it even if it is a top request (which I’m expecting it will be).

Buut, everything in Warzone Requires a purchase (E.G Basic Warthog Certification).

Also, I believe prophet’s bane is on Truth.
I think we have a decent chance they will add special vehicles, most likely not all of them but we might see a decent few. Think of it this way, there has to be some reason they held back forge other then bug fixes, what if us getting all or a decent amount of special items/vehicles is one of them, after all you saw on the map truth in the beta had prophet’s bane, granted it is a beta and a decent amount of things changed since then but still, just a thought.
They may add the weapons and vehicles because in H2A they had the infected Energy sword and the Herectics Banshee to name a few.

I can’t remember where i’ve seen this, i think it was a Q&A with Josh Holmes. Anyway, on that said Q&A it was confirmed that there wont be any Warzone custom weapons outside of Warzone itself, meaning you cannot get them on forge. Same goes to the vehicles.

In the beta it was, but they’ve replaced the Prophet’s Bane with the Plasma Caster since its become a Req item.
Psycho Duck, one of the Cartographers that went to 343, said this. “Req items in forge have been a big request for the community. While I’m sure the developers would love to honor this request, I also understand that making these items available to everyone in forge would undermine the paid aspect of the req system and would weaken their microstransaction business model. This model is what allows them to treat the game as a service and roll out additional maps, modes, and features over time free of charge. So, it’s unclear whether or not it will happen at this point. I can’t wait to see how the forge works out, imagine being able to forge a warzone map? How great would that be?
