Hey everyone. I just got the game today (bought from a legit retailer) and I want to hear if putting the disc in my tray before release could get me banned.
I have heard a lot of people talk about this, almost no one agrees and none at all provides sources.
Could you please enlighten me?
Of course I won’t upload videos of the game or spoil anything (if there was anything to spoil), but you could probably get me to do a review of the graphics or something equally unharmful…
To be safe, play the game offline without signing in to xbox live.

Well I might have gotten the game early, but I’m to scared to just pluck it in and play. This is far worse than not having it…
If you bought a copy of the game, and it’s a legit copy, you have nothing to worry about. So go nuts, play the campaign and the new maps you lucky person

Can you please do this. I’m also curious how forgeable High Noon is. Also I highly doubt you will get in trouble for playing the game early. I’ve seen people on my friends list play other games a few days before the game came out and they didn’t get in trouble. It’s not your fault if a store sells you a game early.
At least Make an offline account and play it seriously you fraidy cats need to think…
I remember before REACH was release I knew a guy who got it before it was released (Proof)
Check his achivements seeing if it’s real,Completed campaign (Some campaign achivements missing)
Plus if you have a legit copy not a bootlegged copy then your fine to play online (On XBOX Live not matchmaking).

I had a friend on live who lives in Saudi Arabia and he got ODST a couple days early, he was 13 so I’m guessing he got it legit-ally. lol =) So I’m guessing it’d be fine to play! =) I’m SOOOOO jealous and depressed now though cuz I’m getting mine in store pickup so I can’t get it early… =’(

I tried going online and no ban so far.
I did however very suddenly disconnect from xbox live 
(but could reconnect)
I hope that means either nothing, or that they have checked that my copy is legit…

The game is set for a Day one patch, it’s possible it tried to download it but it isn’t available yet, unless you did get a patch to download on launch of the game?

Are the ‘tombstones’ (the little blocks on the floor) deletable at least? So there is flat ground to forge on? This is the first mistake 343 have made in my eyes if they haven’t made a replacement for forge world.

The most important thing I have to say after playing the game is that I am not disappointed. The game plays great, and much faster than the original CE
