I just got killed by my own ordinance :(

I’m on Haven toward the beginning of the game (I might have been like 10-2 or so at this time) and I finally get my ordinance. Nothing special, but it contains a Saw, so I figure “better than nothing.”

I get done killing someone and call down my ordinance. I have no shields from the aforementioned fight, but there are no other enemies around so I don’t really have to be careful.

I call down the ordinance and run toward the spot where it should come up. I hear a loud bang and all of a sudden I see the ordinance and I’m dead. I watch the kill cam and the person that killed me spawned across the map, and happens to be the person I just killed.

At this point I really feel dumb because I realize what I did, but I have never actually had this happen before.

So, have you guys ever done this before?

Happened me before, and i had full shields at the time.

It was on complex, i had just spawned, tried to drop it in a few paces in front of me, i jogged forward in an an attempt to just pick it up in my stride. Anyway it landed square on my head and i got a suicide.

Haha I would but I don’t have a capture card so there really isn’t a good way to do it.

I tend to hurt myself a lot with the ordinances but I have never killed myself before. I bet the kid that got the kill was baffled and laughed his head off when he watched the video.
