True true
Practice
I suggest start practicing with the pistol and the best place would be WA for me
But with the exploits i would suggest you go to warzone etc
P.s my first game i went 2-12
So yeah ^^

0.0 kd means you got 0 kills do that counts as negative. When people say negative it means less than 1.0
i suggest playing through the campaign to help improve your skills.
Play warzone or BTB so you can improve your aim
if you do this,we can lose without de-ranking your teammates because you lack skill
(no offense)
CTF isn’t about kills, it’s about capturing flags. I often go negative in games I consider to be playing well at. As long as you’re either offending their flag or stopping the from getting yours that’s good. It’s better than getting kills in an irrelevant part of the map.

Yeh if you’re winning games more than you lose then it doesn’t matter what your kd is . Outside of slayer of course .
Play the campaign and only go for headshots, that can help quite a bit. Also if you have friends to play with go onto octagon or some other map with no cover. Your sensitivity and deadzone settings can also have a big impact on your aim.

Even in Slayer sometimes! I often find if I’m wondering around with groups of team mates I’ll get more assists than kills with an average K/D. Our team will win because map control and teamwork is everything.
It’s HALO and you’re playing CAPTURE THE FLAG! What’s everyone’s obsession with their damn k/d? You capture the flag! Sometimes I die 10 times before I get a single kill trying to run that flag. No wonder no one on my team knows how to play Halo anymore, everyone’s shaking in their boots worrying about going “negative” and camping the outskirts of the map trying to pick off people so their k/d looks good … to whom? I don’t look at your k/d. I don’t look at my own k/d. I don’t even know what mine is. I don’t care. I’m not rewarded for it. I don’t get REQs for it. I don’t get achievements for it. The mayor doesn’t throw me parade. No one cares about your k/d, run the damn flag!

Hahhaah completely agree!!!
I used SWAT to help me with my aim with the BR and Magnum.

My first game I went 27-0.
Believe me, once you see a 27 KDA, you feel good. it all goes downhill from there.

RUN THE DAMN FLAG!
nice post dude - really.
I’d say to play the campaign on increasingly difficult settings. Learn how to get headshots and move while firing (jumping, side-stepping, etc). That will help with your general feeling of the game and better improve some skills. After that, head into BTB and continue working to get your aim and coordination down. SWAT is another good game to help you with your targeting and moving through the map.
Also, watch the recap of your games in theater mode. Pay attention to what you did that got you killed in various circumstances. Then, pay attention to what the high-scoring players did. Watch their movements, and how they approach situations and try to incorporate those actions.

Actually, the second the beta went live, my first match, I cleaned house. I don’t remember exactly how many kills, but it was something like that (20-something). I set it to “Halo 4” controls and didn’t mess around with the new mechanics. I just wanted to figure out the weapon balance first, so while everyone was getting used to the new control scheme and trying to ground pound, I went through and just wrecked the entire place.
Then, like you said, once everybody started getting a feel for it, I very quickly got put in my place.

I have to say tho that the best way to win capture the flag is to slay to get map control first, no good trying to run the flag if two players from your team are in death screen and the oposition has 4 players running round the map.
