doesn’t matter, whales are spending alot in the shop, it’s considered a great success. the average gamer is not relevant under this business model.

Your comment is completely disconnected from reality. If they didn’t care they wouldn’t be quickly responding to changes requested by the player base.
IMO the AR and Pistol starts to the majority of PL is exhausting. The game is drying out for me. I grind rank and even that gets boring (cheaters run wild). Lets see doubles, shotty snipes, BR’s in BTB etc and for GOD SAKE something other than Onyx343343 maybe bring h5 champion rank after a certain point? Otherwise it’s looking like i’d have to go back to playing APEX. I am still holding on to hope though
I miss team snipers. And grifball.
‘stats don’t matter’ it’s the small achievements in life
‘go to x site to see them’ shouldn’t have to do that, especially when past games let me see the medals and stats. oh, like MCC
‘just try to win and enjoy the game’ no insentive. if i want to try and win whiles also playing the game for fun, better off playing a different halo game or any other game for that matter. that’s why weeklies are kinda important, player attention
but like, for surs, i agree entirely with OP. i’l play the game off and on… but my care to actually try to win is non existant, when i have no reason to care, no reward for winning. doesn’t matter if i loose either, no gain or loss or even small gain. what makes it worse is most of the players also don’t care to win, going off and doing their challenges such as i. it’s a darn shame… but hay, 6 years isn’t enough. we gotta come together, and pay for everything in the shop like the good and obedient consumers we are for better servers and maybe a better game in half a year
Doing the bare minimum AFTER launch isn’t listening. It’s damage control
Don’t fall for the classic strategy of conditioning.
They give you the worst version of something, then when they fix it, act like they did the community a favor.
A good example of this is RDR2 multiplayer prior to R* making getting Gold an actual feasible task way back when the game first dropped. Many other devs use this strategy as well.
Them “listening” to us is a calculated move.
Oh don’t worry I’m sure 343 will find a way to monetize Griff all, or just use it as Content filler and call it this new game mode for a future event.
I understand being jaded and cynical, but we should at least give them the benefit of the doubt. I know we’ve all been screwed over by the gaming industry for the last like 15 years, but they haven’t blatantly screwed everyone over yet, so let’s just give them a while at least before we jump to conclusions.
