About 343 breaking canon the following are things people complained at for breaking canon.
Mc’s lack of a cod piece
Mc’s new armor
Mc getting a new cod piece
Mc using a jetpack
Halo 4’s better graphics
Cortanas new look
New pelican
New grunts
Elites fighting mc
Dat wierd flare gun
Dmr
Mc’s epic emergence from cryo
To anyone who has complained about any of those i have one thing to say…
You’r face breaks canon

I support this thread.
Anyone’s face that breaks canon should die a fiery death or be killed by Kratos via QTE.

Only these things break canon. Everything else is fine. And the Master Chief’s new armour will even be explained apparently, so actually it probably won’t break canon.

No-one has said that better graphics breaks canon and it’s quite reasonable for AIs to change their look. See Cortana’s appearance in past Halo games. New pelican = new model. Elites fighting MC? Obviously not those who have a truce with hummanity. Flare gun? Which gun? And how does the DMR break canon? There’s nothing wrong with an epic emergence from cyro.
I suggest editing the last sentence of your post so that it is less offensive DARKONE.
You forgot Call of Duty’s crossover with Halo 4. And I of course do not believe in this.

Believe me people have complained about the graphics and cortana.
People say the dmr does because it was never in halo 3 and was taken out of service after reach.And the jetpack is actually a zero gravity booster all spartans have allways had them.And the flare gun/grenade launcher from the trailer.
If anyone was offended by that they have serious problems…

If the DMR is back in Halo 4 (which it is) and it stopped being used by the UNSC before or during the previous trilogy, it should be obvious, the gun re-entered service by the events of Halo 4. Nothing canon breaking there.
Since real life history is Halo canon, the very existence of Halo games breaks canon.

No offense. I mean it’s great that you are ready and willing to defend 343, but insulting people who care about keeping Halo’s canon intact and accessible is not the right way to go about it.
I agree. Its annoying how fan boys/girls are so into it that they examine every little detail and complain if it doesn’t correspond with some things in the books.
Well guess what what movies have you known that have been 100% faitful to there book counter part, why should it be any different for games, 343 have there own vision for Halo so shut up and let them do it.

I’m not referring to people who just don’t like the changes because they don’t follow canon i’m referring to people that say stuff like this.
Oh my god dey changeded the grunts iz no buy game.BOYCOTT HALO 4!
Anyway way i’m waiting to play the game until i defend halo 4/343 if the game sucks i will not defend them if its great i will.
I’m not gonna judge the game because of a cosmetic change that most people won’t even notice while mowing down waves of grunts.
