Hey all! By an incredible stroke of luck, I was able to meet the Lead Designer of Halo CE, and a designer of Halo 2, Hardy Lebel. We talked in Seattle around the time of PAX, and he turned out to be really cool! I told him I had a YouTube channel and that it would be awesome to have him be in a video! So I finally got around to finishing that interview and posting it on my channel, The Act Man.
Figured just about any Halo fan would get a real kick out of all his stories, secrets, behind the scenes stuff, and insight into the Halo game that started it all. There’s so many awesome stories he tells and I thought all you Halo fans would enjoy it!

Hey Act Man! I watched some of that video and I was surprised that Halo was close to having it’s multiplayer canceled. I am a huge fan, and I think you are very unique from all the other Halo YouTubers. Great job on your videos, and keep making them.

Ps. I’ve seen the “Why is H5 story so bad” series twice now and I can’t remember the last time I laughed so hard. Truly good stuff (except for the sad fact that it’s all true)! Keep it up man!
Hey Act Man. If you haven’t seen the “Halo dissection series” from Cog Connected I’d highly recommend it. He’s extremely thorough and unbiased (even as a Halo fan). I’d love to know your thoughts on the rest of the Halo series, given your background/interest in writing. Personally HCE was my favorite campaign. So many epic moments!
