I was just making this to see if anyone else doesn’t like the current announcers voice, I played reach recently and noticed how much better the announcers voice was then the ones from halo 4 and 5, the one in reach is exactly like the one from 1-3 and it just sounds so much cooler and meaner, does anyone else agree?

i know that Jeff steitzer has been the announcer for every game, when I say change I don’t mean get rid of him, they need to keep him but I was saying I like the way he announced in the older games much better and I wish that came back

The Arena Multiplayer announcer is Jeff Steitzer and he’s been the only announcer in Halo history lol. Everybody likes him because he’s amazing in every game.
The Warzone announcer is Commander Palmer who is voiced by Jennifer Hale. She’s annoying.

I was actually amazed when I discovered the announcer had been the same all along. I was convinced he’d changed, because the way he delivers his ‘line’ has changed so much over time.

Agreed, it’s excessive at times but I think it’s part of the fun. Cracked up when I discovered the ‘road trip!’ medal in Halo 4.

Yeah I know that it’s Jeff steitzer for every game but its how they had him speak his lines that i don’t like, it’s not as good as the classic

I want to see Captain Lasky as a Warzone announcer - would be a nice change of pace, and I can’t imagine the awesome lines he’d say.

They do need to tone down the filter they put on his voice(they tried to implement his voice into the canon, mentioning he’s supposed to be an AI that oversees and manages the Wargames simulations), but I feel like they don’t really need to get that idea across and sacrifice the cool-factor.

I want the teams from Red vs Blue to do Warzone announcements.
Blue team gets Blue Team, Red team gets Red Team.
Why is 343 so seemingly proud of Palmer??? I don’t hate her as much as most do, but constantly shoving her down all of our collective orifices gets annoying after a while, especially when it’s pointless.
