Nothing to confirm or deny yet. I only hope for them as an indicator that 343i isn’t dropping the Created story thread.
Given that cortana still seems to be around in some form, I hope they are as well.
I’d love to see a classic artstyle take on them.
I’ve been hoping to see the Flood and Prometheans fight in FPS, but I’m okay, the Cortana threat seems to have been dealt with.
For anyone that is buying and playing this game, I hope for all y’all that the Promethians don’t return. They were a major nuisance to deal with.
I really don’t wanna fight any more promethean soldiers ever again, but it would also be strange in the story if prometheans just didn’t appear at all.
So I’d say it depends how they pull it off, but I’d rather not play against them.
I personally wouldn’t want them back. The only thing I would miss about them is the Soldier dialogue. They really weren’t at all fun to fight.
I like the prometheans, but I do want them reworked a little bit. Unlike other enemies, there was basically one go-to way to kill them that EVERYONE used at some point, and I wish they would allow us to come up with more strategy against them

I hope they do but in a more interesting capacity or even as potential allies?
The Campaign Teaser gave us a lot of info to work with in regards to speculation.
If we do fight them as enemies I hope they dont be as much of a slog. In Halo 5 they had the most annoying weapon armaments. I also hope we get some resolution on the Warden Eternal.
I hate fighting them, but they can’t just be thrown away. Since Cortana’s gonna be in Infinite, I think Prometheans will be too
I actually wouldn’t mind seeing how they’re redesigned to fit with the new/old artstyle. They just need to fix the hit feedback for them and balance their combat niches.

I hope they don’t come back, they weren’t fun to fight at all compared to the Covenant.
I hope that all enemies are in play. Switch it up a little, also, they could be battling each other for supremacy.
In the multiplayer trailer, there is a purple charge weapon that causes a data purge like effect on the spartan when he dies. Could be a hint, who knows.
No thanks, never enjoyed them or their sandbox. Thankfully it seems 343i is shelving them for later.
Id be okay with them in limited situations for story reasons, but def would rather fight covenant the majority of the campaign
I’m guessing they will. I’m thinking Didact’s the one who deleted Crazy Cortana, and Crazy Cortana prevented Weapon Cortana’s deletion so that Weapon Cortana could help Chief fight the Didact. I bet the Didact is working with the Banished, who helped him gain access to Crazy Cortana and who ultimately wants to raise hell with humanity.
