I hope that 343 makes it before January

Let me start this off by saying that I have enjoyed Halo Infinite, it’s been an exciting time for the community but many things need to change and change soon if Halo has a chance to see the light of next year. From cosmetics to gameplay balance here are a few of my worries for the upcoming release.
Cosmetics
I believe the armor coating system while new is flawed for what it is, in the older games and even in Halo 5 you could choose what color your spartan could be along with great customization from just starting the game. It took skill and the better you did the better you progressed, win or lose. I hope to see the old coloring system come back but would not mind if 343 had some armor patterns able to be purchased.
Battle Pass
Being free to play 10 dollars for a battle pass is not egregious in the slightest especially for 160 days but the content in the battle pass needs some work along with tweaking the coloring system., level 14 on the battle pass was just a singular armor coating and then had to grind the depressive grind that is the current battle pass, 20 games for 1 level is a crazy amount and you don’t even get more XP even if you did well in the game.
Combat
CQC is the worst I’ve ever seen so far, you can be meleed and spend the next 3 seconds trying to find the person attacking you. Obviously, that is an exaggeration but it is truly what it feels like in-game, along with the shotgun not being strong enough to actually use effectively in CQC. Along with no lunging with melee, it feels as if Halo has turned into a weird version of itself forgetting the way old combat.
Multiplayer Settings
One thing I hope to see is the bringing back of selection of specific multiplayer like in MCC so it doesn’t feel like you’re constantly rolling the dice.
What I’ve liked
So far the visual changes made like seeing you and your friends spartans on the multiplayer screen and the ability to change the UI. The multiplayer loop has been extremely fun but it has its quirks. Out of all the first-person shooters this year Halo Infinite has had the most solid launch out of all of them.
