You know the new xbox 360 dashboard theme for Halo 4? You know how there are those two pics of a cluster of structures hanging down from the ceiling? Yep, those same structures that we have seen in concept art pictures over the past few months? Change your perspective… and look at that one picture of the structures with the clouds UPSIDE DOWN!
Well, (PLEASE I beg of you BARE WITH ME ON THIS) what if those structures hanging down from above… are actually Forerunner buildings? I know I sound REALLY CRAZY to think that, but JUST LOOK AT THEM for Guardian’s sake!
Upside down, those building TOTALLY resemble what I would imagine a Forerunner city to look like. I don’t know HOW it is upside down, but you have to keep in mind that this species created ring worlds so maybe this isn’t TOO far fetched… at least for them.
My mind was just blown back when I first noticed this.

An insanely epic and insane theory that would be amazing if it were true (doubt it), but it certainly is something to think about. We don’t know too much about Requiem, so who knows? Maybe I just figured out some key point in Halo 4’s plot? We can only guess. But hey, fun speculation like this is hard to find and enjoy on the forums here nowadays, so might as well enjoy the speculation before getting slapped in the face by what they ACTUALLY are. So for now, it’s an upside down building complex and that is good enough for me at this time.
You have to admit that your reasoning and logic WERE blown back a bit when you saw this though right? I mean, IT’S AN UPSIDE DOWN BUILDING! What more could you ask for?

haha yeah I spotted them when the image was upside down. I almost threw up from nausea.

They are indeed Banshees. Banshess have already been seen in other concept art.
