I’ll first off an say that I can never hate or be tired of Halo. I love them, ten years, I will never forget the vast amount of memories the game has had on me, with friends, alone, on live, and overall an amazing game. All of em, 1,2,3,ODST and Reach.
That out of the way I want Halo 4 to WHOOP Halo games before it. I want it to be so damn good (IMO) that going back to another Halo would feel like a chore. I want it to be perfect, like everything good from all games.
I want Halo 5 and Halo 6 to be the same. So dang good. I mean feeling more deep then HALOCE, A story more deep then Halo 2, Battles bigger then Halo 3, Charachters and A.I like Halo ODST and Reach, w,e, I want it to be amazing
And not because I think 343 is better. I want it to be better because I wanna feel like I’m starting something new and fresh.
Over time however (as with all games) I will go to the old. Yet I just hope Halo 4 is amazing. Campaign at least I hope beats them all. M.P, w/e, I’ll have fun with it.

We all do mate.
I have also loved all the Halo Games, and hope to have another 10 great years.
I prefere Halo 3 Match Making to REACH, but I still play REACH, it is still a great game. I have played nearly 4000 games of REACH.
I hope Halo 4 has much better maps for Multi-Player, still think Halo 2 has had the best maps by far.

0_0… now that’s one steep hill to climb… can’t get much better then the mystery of an unknown game, in an unknown sci-fi shooter, and it still delivers you into a magnitude of unholy kickassness.

343i has a chance to make it feel like halo CE all over again… they are starting from the beginning, lets just hope they come through with a solid start to a trilogy rather than tanking like reach’s campaign.

All good except for this bit, seriously, my dog could beat both of those games on Heroic if he could use an Xbox controller. Not to mention that the Legendary AI are just outright, frustrating to fight due to cheap tactics (such as an Elite turning around and kicking you in the leg for a one hit kill just as you were about to assassinate him).
If Halo 4 is to be any good for single player gameplay, 343i need to take a lesson from the AI found in Halo 1 and Halo 2.

or make better ai then all the halo games. Bungies weakest point in programing
I despise the team emphasis in those campaigns. The unnamed ODST team was tolerable but Noble Team is where I draw the line.
Let’s remember that H4 is about Master Chief. This is his time to shine and I don’t want anyone, not even Arbiter, stealing the spotlight (or my kills).
The AI for Hunters is alright, as well as Drones and Engineers, but everything else is enough to induce a heart attack. I want balanced Elites, no Brutes, clever Grunts, and realistic Jackals, not damage sponge, bottomless clip, non-responsive and foolish monsters.

HA! Balanced elites… that’s rich. Give me the OS sword elites any day, every day, lol.
But in all seriousness, I agree. I want my legendary runs to be something to remember and that means allowing all species something balanced and powerful against me.
