I hope 343 Industries leaves the Anniversary maps alone. When they get released.

What I mean by that is this.

Lets take the Headlong remake map. I have a feeling there’s going to be a lot of kids complaining about the Gauss Hog:
-It’s to powerful.
-It keeps killing me.
-I’m to dumb to avoid it, or take it out.
Stuff like that.

In the typical Halo fashion. It would be removed, and get replaced with something else.
Like what happened with the Scorpion Tank in Hemorrhage.

So I hope 343 does not listen to these people, and leaves the maps alone.

Breakneck may be changed to suit the playstyle of the Default Reach Players.

Headlong will remained unchanged pretty much forever so don’t worry about this.

I hope you’re right.
I still have a feeling though that they are going to remove something when the maps get released.

Exactly the way i fell i’m going to be really mad if they take it out but it might not even be in it to begin with. As far as the tank on Hemorrhage goes they should just have a BTB heavy then they could have it. BTB

343 should put the tank back in Hemorrhage for the Anniversary playlist and maybe even throw in Reflection with all the Halo 2 weapon placements. I mean they are classic maps.

I completely agree.
But do to some people.
We can’t have nice things :frowning:

Now the gauss hog is not a problem, any average banshee pilot could flip it with a fuelrod shot.

But the problem is the Banshee is now apparently next to the gate on the bridge, its no longer on the ground behind the construction site base.

So now the gauss hog can kill the enemy team before the get to the banshee, and they could drop off someone to take it. Which is undoubtedly what some btb parties will do, thus ending with randoms complaining and removal of the some vehicles.
