I hope during the livestream 343 says something to the effect of:
“a bunch of fedora wearing nitpicky fans have been freaking the f%&$ out over a unsc air vehicle so we added this. I guess in halo 6 we will never try to add a new faction’s vehicle at the risk of upsetting nostalgic players that should have moved out of their mom’s basements. Also out of spite for the same people we will never add playable elites because a good argument for why they should be added does not exist. Instead you will have to settle for a game that functions well for most people.”
