wow man i hit level 70 with the standard edition and now i have to sit here getting no exp while everybody gets to catch up??? man i just want the new specializations so i can continue will you please make it soon 343??? thank you
I will hit 70 today. And while I could tell you to go outside and enjoy life, I can tell you are very much into videogames, this one especially. So instead I will tell you this:
There is more to playing this game then leveling up. Sure, it is fun to level and unlock more stuff, but just sitting back and playing the game for the fun is, well, fun. Now that you don’t have any pressure you can:
- screw around on a Mongoose by taking if off Ragnarok’s mancannons over and over.
- run around tea-bagging ever body you see just because you can.
- use your imagination to come up with things to do on your own.
These are what I do all day long, plus many others.
And another thing is,

Get all of the available achievements and just run through everything on Legendary/Mythic difficulty.

but I don’t get the XP cap. If you are going to reward players for playing don’t punish them at a certain point bc in the end does that matter? No…

Got stalled at 38 last night thanks to the fragging stupid XP cap. Don’t know how far I’ll get today before being capped again. 39 at the moment. It’s no damn fun knowing that you’re going to hit an XP barrier for NO good reason and then not be able to play.
(Yes, I KNOW I can still play, or play for ‘fun’. Part of the fun for me is levelling up and unlocking stuff, and silly ‘level races’ with friends. And, if nothing else, at least with exp you get something even if you have a bad match and lose badly. Capping that is fething idiotic.)

maybe if you had some sort of life this wouldn’t be a problem
and i guess the only good thing about the cap for me is the fact that i woulda been level 70 like day 3 of release haha but hopefully in the update next week they will be making alot of pleasurable changes to the game

lol yeah… i was pissseedddd but these guys in here helped me realize ill enjoy it and have fun enjoying the other perks of this wonderful game that of course they got a couple things to fix hahaha

Aren’t they releasing the next Specializations on the 20th. Once you finish that, 343 will start rolling out the Skill Based Ranking System next year.

My social life IS Halo and videogames in general since most of my friends moved to places all around the country since we graduated highschool. It allows me to stay in contact with them other than that Facebook machine. Sure, I could socialize with my college peers, but most of them are… just terrible people. Roommates are pretty cool though.
