If you are talking about the Prima Games guide hardcover, then yes you will get a free REQ pack for H5, but the book doesn’t release until oct27
A buddy of mine picked up a copy of Last Light and it came with a code for a REQ Pack.

Last light has a rec pack code in the back of the book. I can confirm with pick if anyone needs evidence.
That being said if you pick up a physical copy make sure it still sealed before you buy the book since it will be highly likely someone stole the code already

So got the book and the code. Entered the code and it worked. Now my question is, did I use it pre maturely? Or is it now saved on my xbox somewhere and accessible when I play the game?

Don’t know if you found out about this yet. But once you redeem the code it downloads the req pack to your hard drive but you can’t use it until you install halo and get in game.

Check your “Manage Game” for Halo 5. I got the Digital Deluxe edition, and I see all of the associated content (REQ pass, pre order REQs, and Fall of Reach) to the side of the game.

I put a code in but im getting physical copy. No H5 data anywhere to be found. Really hope it shows up later lol

Walmart sells the books? I might just have to pick one up then. I’ve heard pretty lousy accounts about online retailers not including the codes.

Yeah, i was unaware also. Was headed to checkout and it caught my eye. Even though im still on Ghosts of Onyx i picked it up lol
