Yeah you can tell those kids don’t know how to play or what they r talking about. A similar thing happened to me during warzone assault a few weeks back ;I heard a kid say to another “dude it’s just like cod”. Halo isn’t cod. They have many clear differences lol.
It’s these guys 343i are trying to poach with their design choices. All they know is COD, that’s all they can play, want to play, and know how to play.
Don’t worry, they will give up on Halo 5 soon enough.

You say that. But breakout is nothing like search and destroy on CoD.
And CS is the pinnacle of competitive gamming. But Ranbow 6: Siege is really cutting into that market for it is so masterly done. They really fixed up that game after the depressing Beta they had and turned it into a game of pure tense heart pounding action. Nothing better then the fear of someone blowing the wall right next to you apart with a breach charge.

The fact of the matter is: Halo 5 does resemble COD, and was clearly “inspired” by it. Disgusts me, really.
CoD’s influence has SIGNIFICANTLY been dialed back since Halo 4.

They’ve been pretty much lumped into the same group by most people since Modern Warfare. It’s just the really polarized fans of the games that like to insist they’re different.

Except that Halo and CoD have been compared and there has been a rivalry since long before 343 was a thing…
It’s closer to COD than any previous Halo title.
