That’s dumb. CTF in general is my most played game mode when I check all playlists. My last challenge will be getting 3 guardian angels in pvp - also so dumb that my previous ones don’t count this week.
Unfortunately I bought the pass before I was aware of the predatory practices. I have a few swaps laying around.

haaay! i’m having the same issue… except with slayer.
like, for surs, i was getting slayer, oddball, and ctf at random intervals. then the moment i got a challenge saying ‘get kills in slayer type gamemode’ i get everything BUT SLAYER. seriously, i’ve been getting only CTF matches, and the ocasional oddball matches. random gamemode my -Yoink!-

Lol this was me 2 weeks ago with total control, and last week with, win any 5 (i think) pvp matches. I now hate the power seed game mode, and last week proved it to me that this can’t be happening by chance. I’ve never lost so many back to back matches in any halo title ever. I was even playing split-screen with someone and when that challenge came up I made a joke and said, “now watch us only get matched up against legit pros lol” and what do you know… we got wrecked non-stop for the rest of the night. It didn’t matter if it was quick play or BTB just hours of losses back to back to back. Not to mention it was so much more notable because we were doing pretty well before that one showed up. Because there’s Skill based matchmaking I would assume at a certain point -in the interest of player retention- the game would say, ‘hey, lets stick them in a match that they will walk away from with a W’, to keep them playing. Unless there was a monetary incentive to not do so…
Maybe we’re crazy for thinking this but at this point I’d legit need to see proof that I’m wrong.
