So anyone care to explain why there was like 130,000 players online, there was this thread on Bungie that said “November will signal death” and I don’t think its dead.

People get back form work.
Kids finish school.
People in general are at home.
During work hours, the numbers are around ~50k
Well there are probably several reasons. The Christmas Bundle probably didn’t hurt the population any. I know from personal experience that some of my friends really like the anniversary maps so they have been playing a bit more.
Christmas Bundles go a long way to boost a population. Just sayin.
As great as it is in helping the game be more bearable to play, it’s a misconception that the TU alone was responsible boost the games population. Nope, there are other factors to consider, even if you are stubborn this you must a admit.
Of course, i know not if the TU did in fact bring back players who left Reach because of it’s mediocre Pre TU settings.

The number crunchers that thought that it was going to die, must have forgot this is Halo.
Check out the new Living dead maps, they just dropped on tuesday and they are pretty sweet.
TU in Squad brought me back.
And then there’s the christmas bundles and christmas in general as well. And CEA.
Just checked Team Slayer and Living Dead population. Both are at above 10k for number of players. That is quite a bit compared to what it once was as far as population for a single playlist goes in Reach.
Numbers go up and then go down.

Same here, I wasn’t having much fun until it was released.
