I haven't been able to play for 7 days

“Downloading latest data”, I’ve literally tried everything. So I came to the conclusion that everytime I want to play MCC but I can’t, I’m just going to make a new thread UNTIL MY GAME ACTUALLY WORKS

Instead of raging on the forums and making baseless threats about spamming… Why don’t you contact Xbox live support? I’m sure they could help you with your problem

When I say I’ve tried everything, I’ve tried everything. Maybe if you had some common sense you could have figured that out from the post? Whenever I see the silly “Downloading latest data”, I just cancel it.
Then I wait a few seconds, and click on “Multiplayer” then “Find Game” again and it goes away.

I’ve no idea why but this has worked for me through the last couple of patches. :slight_smile:

I usually can do this too, but this time it just keeps popping up :frowning: I’m currently reinstalling the game for the second time, maybe I’ll have some luck his time.

Saying you have tried everything doesn’t mean you have. YOU made threats to spam the forums in till you got help, that’s not the best way to ask for help.

I’m not saying post their… I’m saying… to directly call the xbox support or take the poster’s advice above. It’s much more proactive then then making a post like your original. Heck just experiment too, Could you please explain your problem in a little more detail? Also please Google “downloading latest data MCC”, theirs a bunch of topics about this, so your not the only one having issues. One of them might have a solution. The overall solution seems to be trying to restart the xbox, or cancel the download and trying agian. You may also want to wipe all the updates… (but you might want to check that out first)

I’m sorry then, I’m very salty about this whole thing. And I have googled andt tried every solution I could find but nothing will work, I’ve even reinstalled the game and still no luck.

Currently reinstalling it for the second, I’ll report back here if I figure anything out.

Did you try…

  • To Clear the MAC address: Settings -> Network -> Advanced Settings -> Alternate Mac address -> Clear -> Restart - To Clear the Blu-ray storage: Settings -> Disc & Blu-Ray -> Persistent Storage -> Clear Persistent Storage (do this 3 times)

MCC is at the PNR right now, Finishing a match with a party I always get the frickin Uploading team stats stuck screen for 5 mins till I get kicked back to the main menu. This is really -Yoinking!- stupid.

I’ve cleared the MAC address, I haven’t tried the Blu-Ray thing however. I’ll give it a shot, thanks.

Also make sure your X1 is set to “Power save” mode. This will force the X1 to turn off every time you turn it off. Otherwise if you have “Instant on” mode enabled, it never actually turns off. It remains in a sleep mode 24/7 which means its still actually on. This creates a lot of problems with the updates and multiplayer along with more wear and tear on your X1. I always recommend everyone setting their X1 to “power save” mode. This also forces a hard shut off. Next time you restart, it will truly be a full system reboot. Hope this helps.
