I bought Halo MCC on day one and barely touched it after the 1st week due to the issues. I got an achievement to prove it. I did not receive any compensation. Now that most of the issues are resolved after nearly 3 months I can finally enjoy the game. I contacted Microsoft as well. Can someone confirm that I will in fact get my compensation?

I am in the same boat. I bought and played the day of release even finished the 1st Halo with achievements. I have contacted @xboxsupport 3 times and they say the same thing…it’s being rolled out in stages. My biggest problem is that my son played the game once of twice never online with my XboxOne and got the free month 2 days after they started giving out a free month which was Jan.16. I tried telling these guys this as well and they again state that it is coming to everyone that played the game during the preset time period. It is getting a bit annoying because I personally do not think it is coming to me.

I don’t know how they work the rolls outs, but it should hot your account soon. You can check http://commerce.microsoft.com if you have a subscription and check your renewal dates, pretty easy to see if it as been extended. My account was extended, but I did not receive the message until about a week later.

I would disagree about the subscription dates. They don’t seem to line up in a logical fashion.
Also in same boat. Contacted MS support via chat, and was told they are going to check with 343 about this. I’m to receive email updates. Not holding my breath.

Have a check under this section, it’s a bit easier to see everything: https://commerce.microsoft.com/PaymentHub/Subscription. Click on “View History” underneath Xbox Live Gold. I have 12months + 1 month free (bought a pre-paid code) which was bought on 18/05/2014. My expire should be June this year, but it shows as 18/07/2015, so I know I have my free month from 343 applied.

I can assume the first entry is just for the single extra month on my purchase of a 3 month + 1 free. But if that’s the case, why does the second entry go for 5 months?
I received the name plates and such, which means I should receive the free month correct? My XBL just expired today, and I’m wondering why. If I got the name plates, shouldn’t I of gotten the one month as well?
I just want the game to work I’m unable playing the Single Player Halo 4 mission (Shutdown) my loading screen freezes then it makes a loud noise.

You should, as I posted it’s still being rolled out so you should see it pretty soon.
@OrangeWolf33 - Hm, that is a strange one. Not sure what would be the cause of that, could only advise speaking to Billing / XBL Support to see if they can explain any better. Sorry I can’t be of better help

No worries, just letting you (and others) know that the Subscriptions page isn’t going to be a sure-fire way to determine this. Support wasn’t able to give me an answer either, unfortunately.
I’m still waiting my free month too. I don’t care if I have to wait, but my Gold expire on 27th February, and one more month will be great.
