Did 343i change what Silver members are limited to? I remember a few weeks ago that I was not able to even look at challenges due to the fact that I did not have Gold. Was this an announced change that I missed?
I thought everyone, even silver members could always complete challenges, except for matchmaking challenges of course.
Yeah, I thought silver members were able to complete challanges as long as they werent in matchmaking or require co-op. Aka only campaign solo or any mode challenges.

That’s correct. Silver account owners can complete all campaign challenges (even co-op challenges as long as the challenge in question doesn’t specifically require online co-op), and challenges that can be done “in any game mode” like today’s Blastin’ and Relaxin’.
In fact, Silver account owners can complete all challenges that don’t have the word “matchmaking” in their description.
That’s weird. I always remember not being able to even view the challenges. Maybe my internet wasn’t working at the time and I didn’t know. Oh well. Thanks for the help, guys.

You can’t complete either Commendations or Challenges unless you are online. I don’t know if silver applies, but they aren’t available to offline accounts.
