So I redownloaded MCC from the Xbox app on PC, had to wipe my drive for it. Took hours of downloading through the night and was playing fine for a day.
Then I had to download some software for work on the same drive and since then I’ve had to start up the ‘Anti-Cheat Disabled’ version of MCC first, quit out, then start the normal version.
Compared to other issues I’ve had with MCC, this is relatively minor. But its a bit of a pest when I just want to jump on for a game or two.

hi quiet that it is not the software you downloaded that is giving you problems,
but it is an error present on all PCs, perhaps due to the update of the xbox game services
